I should have known better to order from Amazon.com. Someone gave me a gift certificate from them, so I used it to buy the Unbreakable DVD. Well, on Saturday they email me saying it was in the mail, but Thursday came and went with no DVD in the mailbox. I check the site order status, and now it says to look for it from 6/28-7/4. Ack! I guess I'm going to stick with B&M DVD purchases for the foreseeable future.

I don't understand. You're still going to get it. And at a lower price. What's the rush? Are you insinuating that Amazon did something wrong? Maybe their distributor screwed up. Who knows?

If you crave instant gratification then don't shop online.

Bitching about shipments being late is a time honored jon-line tradition!

Normally I don't care that much, and the gnashing of teeth is more amusing, but sometimes I really do want to see a certain DVD and it's annoying that it takes a long time to get it. More online retailers used to be better about having the DVDs arrive on the day they were released. I often got them earlier than that.

Anyway Patman, I received my Unbreakable today from Amazon.

lately, http://www.cdnow.com has been the most gracious with on time delivery. http://www.twec.com is good but they are probably limping back to life with all the coupon abuse the previous months. if you want on time ordering, cdnow is the choice. never could have said this a year ago.
