Hello,

I'm sure this has been asked before, just looking for a quick answer. If I cancel an amazon order with a promo coupon or GC, will the credit still be available for another purchase as long as it hasn't expired yet? Or will it be gone for good?

Yes, I recently applied a promo coupon ($5 off $30) to an order that had another promo on it already (I couldn't remember since I had GCs on it too). Then the next time I placed an order Amazon applied the promo discount automatically to the new order. Their tracking system for promo coupons and GCs is the best.

Depending on the situation you can keep it until it has passed it's expiration date.

I had one that expired on a Monday. On Sunday I placed my order for a Pre-Order DVD and applied the GC. On Thurs, I created a new DVD order, combined the two orders, deleted the original pre-order and the GC was applied to my Thursday order even though it had "expired" on Monday.

YMMV
