I just had an order shipped via UPS Ground. I didn't know they also use UPS for shipping. When did they start this? I don't like UPS for several reasons and one of my reasons for shopping at DDD was them using USPS Priority Mail.
I really hope it was an exception (I ordered a box set).

Well, if they just wanted a signature, they could get it with USPS too using the "Delivery Confirmation" service.
However, I emailed them, and they told me they were generally shipping larger orders via UPS Ground if Priority Shipping was chosen.
If I get my package tomorrow (as the tracking system promises) and it arrives in good shape I don't really care what carrier they use. I just prefer USPS if I got a choice.
