Is it just me or has amazon greatly inflated their shipping prices?
I tried to order Enders Shadow (a $6.90 book) and they wanted to charge $4.50 in shipping? Who the hell is going to pay that..
Its ludicrous

Use a coupon! (Especially the $5 one that people is eager to give away) :)

My mom tried to order a movie that was $7 and they wanted around $15 for the cheapest shipping rate to Canada! fukk that!

I agree that there shipping to Canada is outrageous!!! If they would only realize that they could gain soo many more customers if they would just lower it to something a bit more reasonable.

Yeah, I agree. It's getting up there. I think many .coms are looking at shipping as another revenue stream. Charge as much as they can get away with, and then ship it as cheaply as possible.

Why not? Me and you might not purcase anything because of high shipping, but plenty of people still will. They probably see someone charging $5.50 shipping on an item on Ebay and go, "Why don't we do that?"

what a joke! i emailed them and told them how unhappy i was, but they dont seem to care ;P
