Re: NFL 2022 Super Wild Card Weekend Thread
Stafford didn't win that game, the Cardinals simply looked like a confused and poorly prepared team. I admit I haven't seen a single Cardinals game this year until tonight, but Murray didn't look like a franchise QB at any point in the game.
This may have been the poorest Wild Card weekend in years and years. Most games were blow-outs early, and the close games were less about awesome playmaking and more about bone-headed execution.

Wow I knew that the Bills kicked the Patriots ass on Saturday, but until I read this article in The Ringer, I didn’t realize it was a “Perfect Game” for the offense. Before the end of the game kneel down, every Bills offensive possession resulted in a Touchdown. That had never happened before in a game. No Punts, no FG attempts and no turnovers. No fourth down plays either. Just an amazing achievement.

'14: lost 4 of 6 •
'15: lost 4 of 6 •
'16: lost 6 of 8 •
'17: lost 6 of 8 •
'18: lost 5 of 5
Cardinals: •.500%
'19: lost 7 of 9 •
'20: lost 5 of 7 •
‘21: lost 5 of 6
0-1 playoffs
Not the greatest wc weekend besides 49ers vs, Dallas and raiders vs. Cinci the other games where blah, unless your team was playing and won.
next weekend is looking very very good.

^ That’s addressed in the article I just linked above. They blame it on Kliff’s refusal to change his systems, schemes and personnel as the season progresses and the opposition adapts.

The 49ers and Raiders games were the only good games.
This is what you get when you have too many playoff games and you have teams like the Steelers, Eagles, and Cardinals get in.

The worst game have to be the Eagles/Bucs game in the Wild Card round.

The Cardinals played like shit, but Stafford could've still had a bad game - but he didn't. His stats weren't remarkable, but still was 13/17, 2 TDs, 0 INT and a QB rating of 154.

Yeah, this was a pretty crappy set of games, I was flipping between football and tennis last night, but I stopped doing that at 21-0. Game over.

Waking into my Bloomington Kroger wearing a Bengals jersey. Dude in the parking lot quipped at me, "Meh. Everybody loves a winner."
He was implying that I was a bandwagon fan.
I raised both arms in victory - We Have A Bandwagon! Lol!

Well - you got half of what you wanted. Too bad about the missed opportunity to injure an opponent - better luck next time.

Now if the KC Racists could beat the Bills AND lose Mahomes near the end of the game - that would be ideal. Just for the playoffs... nothing permanent or career ending. I'm not an animal.

I ask this with no snark: What player/number jersey was it? You wear a Joe Burrow jersey and that might be why you get called a bandwagoner. Break out your Esiason jersey and they'll know you're a die hard.

I used to work with a sports broadcaster that always said "no one over 18 should be wearing a jersey, it's just pathetic." I tend to agree.

I know they weren’t all the best games last weekend and the blowouts were not great football but I’ll be honest, I LOVE the expanded playoff. Seeing 6 playoff games over three days was awesome! Sure, it would have been better if they were all close games but I’m not complaining. So far I’m really liking a 17 game season (with fewer pre-season bore-fest) and an extended playoff.

I’m a life long Broncos fan so I’m certainly not jumping on a bandwagon but at this point, with the teams remaining, I’m kind of pulling for the Bengals. As a fan of Von Miller I’m also hoping for the Rams. If either one of those teams win it all I’ll be ok with it.
