Same thing was said about Wild Card teams in general, till one won the Splendid Bowl. You're not the first person to criticize adding a 7th team in each conference, and we'll hear it over and over again, until a 7 upsets a 2, which I bet will happen within the next 3 years.

WTF has only won 1 playoff game at home since FedEx was built in 1997 and that 1 was 22 years ago. If they weren't playing Detroit that day, they'd probably have zero.

As a lifelong Vikings fan, I concur. And also a lifelong DC area resident, like Red Dog I believe, I feel that DC pain. That Sports Futility thread we have kills me, as I religiously follow two area with franchises in all four sports, and they both usually top the futile list of 4-sport cities. I have like 400 years and 7 total championships, almost all 1991 and earlier.

Yeah but the Lions and WFT aren't a "National Team". The fact that the Cowboys are still the most popular tean in the NFL and consistently have the best ratings is kind of baffling based on the past 20 years. It's like everyone's taste was cemented in the '70s and never changed.

Once again everybody is picking apart the Cowboys when they got beat by a better team.

Welp time to be disappointed.
At least I got my emotional hedge bet on the Rams in.

Illegal forward pass
Why would they do a play like that in the 1st quarter?

OBJ 1st TD pays! Rams -3.5 gonna pay! Gonna be a great betting night. Fuck Kliff Kingsbury.

It's hard to imagine, but the Cardinals could have a worse first half than the Steelers did last night.
Steelers: 45 yards, 2 first downs.
Cardinals so far: -4 and 0.

Yeah, Kyler Murray does not remotely look like a playoff quarterback so far. Even giving him some credit for this being his first time, he still looks bad.
