By the way.... with the pool being capped at 50 players and us already having 40 players who are guaranteed spots (due to having played in at least one-half of these over the prior 18 years or having won it all at least once), I am probably going to have to raise the bar next year. Instead of a championship OR 10 years, it will probably move to championship OR 12. This will free-up 7 spots (6 if this year crowns a new champ of under 11 years), meaning that 17 spots, or roughly one-third of the pool, would be available on first-come/first-served.
Of those 7 who would temporarily lose their guaranteed spots, three of them have already joined the pool within 36 hours of it being open. And since we've never had to turn anyone away, the 50 player cap is pretty artificial anyway, so I don't see this impacting anyone who wants to play.
Haven't made a hard decision yet, but I'm parking this here so I'll see it next year.

My record would be alot better if I picked guarantee wins in the first round every year. I could probably get to the conference championship game every year without much problem, but would then struggle cause all those easy earlier picks are now not available. I'm not playing for a good record,, I play to win.
If you are getting to the superbowl but shut out, congrats on getting every pick right, but you will have to take bigger risks in the earlier rounds if you ever hope to win it.

been a while since we reached the 50 mark tho. So the assessment is likely still accurate.

Hey Ken, you have brizz and HistoryProf both with a reserved spot, but I'm pretty sure that they're the same person, brizz became HistoryProf.

All picks above this post have been noted. Please doublecheck the listing at the top of this thread to ensure that yours is correct.

There are 26 entries at present, 22 of which were reserved and claimed.
24 spots remain, 18 of which are reserved and may be claimed.
This leaves 6 open spots available, plus any additional spots caused by unclaimed reservations.

By the way.... the Bengals play a home playoff game in about six hours and I'll be sitting at PBS in my seat in Section 104. It's the first game of this post-season and I do not know if I will be posting a "POOL IS CLOSED" post when kickoff occurs - I may be a little busy at the time.
Gonna use timestamps (4:35pm ET) for that, just in case someone posts right at the deadline.
Personal note.... my team hasn't won a playoff game since the 1990 post-season. We played at the Raiders in the Divisional Round, one win away from getting Boomer and Ickey back to a 2nd AFC Championship Game in three years. Bo Jackson suffered a career-ending injury, and some claim that there's been a curse on the Bengals since that happened. That may be, but we haven't earned a rematch against the Raiders since then so I am cautiously optimistic that today may be the day we turn this around.
Regardless of the outcome, though, I will remain a Bengals fan... they're my home team. I've been a season ticket holder for five decades (yes, the 1980s)... I've been to the Super Bowl and I've endured David Klingler. No bandwagon here, just rooting for my team through good times and (mostly) bad.

KICKOFF!
The pool is now CLOSED to new entries. If you didn't make it, that's cool - it will re-open in 365 days.
Good luck all.

Okay.... it took an hour to get out of PBS. We had a record capacity crowd with it being at least 95% home town fans. When the game ended, nobody wanted to leave. There were folks dancing in the aisles, singing, ripping their clothes off, dogs and cats sleeping together.... it was glorious.
I'm getting Cardsfan's pick updated, then will update the pool for the first result of the evening.
