Yeah, that's a tough call... It looks like the games will be rescheduled, at this point.
For some teams, it can be a significant disadvantage, but the Leafs do well on the road.
Are these the first games that have been postponed, due to not allowing spectators?
Are all US rinks at full capacity?

Damn, Blues finally lost at home.
Bad night for the defense.
they gave up too many shots, and Binnington didn’t step up when needed.
still can’t believe he gave up the winner at that angle.

Yeah, that was a crazy goal. Of course, I'm a Leafs fan, so I'll take it, but I had no idea where it went, until the ref pointed to the net. I thought Binnington had it under his pads.

I’m sure someone from Canada can give you more details but if you bother to Google “NHL” “Canada” and “Covid” you can find plenty of information on the restrictions, which last I saw included five NHL cities but not Edmonton or Vancouver.

I've been a Panther fan for over 25 years and I'm really (finally) excited about the team this year. All four lines are competing and as of late the offence is on fire. I know there is a long way to go but please at least this be the year they make it through the first playoff round.

^ That just means Seattle has done a poor job at taking advantage of the favorable expansion rules that Vegas also had.
Give Vegas the expansion draft rules that applied to previous expansion teams and we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

RIP to Islanders great Clark Gillies, who died yesterday at 67. One of the prototypical "power forwards" and the LW on one of the greatest lines in NHL history, with Bryan Trottier and Mike Bossy.

Second game in a row, third in four days.
Binnington in goal.
Team was bound to shit the bed eventually.

Scheduling in this league is still a joke.
Blues played three games in four nights - including back to back games - when they were destroyed by Calgary on Monday night.
Now the Flames did the same thing - and they were destroyed by the Blues last night.

The All Star Skills Competition in Vegas on Friday is going to be a trip :
Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas and outside
What to know about the events: In addition to tradition competitions at T-Mobile Arena, the NHL announced that it will have its first-ever outdoor All-Star Game skills competition events -- The NHL Fountain Face-Off will be staged at the Fountains of Bellagio and The Las Vegas NHL 21 in '22 skills competition will shut down part of Las Vegas Boulevard.
The Fountain Face-Off will involve eight participants traveling by boat to a "rink" in the fountain and shooting pucks as quickly as possible into five targets. The NHL 21 event will be blackjack-themed with players shooting pucks at an oversized deck of playing cards.
At T-Mobile Arena there will be: Fastest Skater, Save Streak for goalies, Hardest Shot, Accuracy Shooting and the return of the Breakaway Challenge. The Breakaway Challenge is a "trick shot" competition in which participants get two shot attempts and a panel of judges rates them on a scale of 1-10.
Check out the eight competitors in the Fastest Skater competition and more information on all of the events.

Figured this could be a cool unique experience so I just bought a single decent ticket for All Star Weekend for $210. Start times aren’t great but figured what the hell, maybe I miss an hour of the Skills Competition.

So this is interesting. VGK might just sit Stone the rest of the regular season. Would be a huge blow, but if it's a major issue, that might be the best strategy and would totally take care to the unruly Cap situation with Eichel ready to join the team. Playoff position not nearly as important as being right for the Playoffs.
But they sure looked bad last night without their captain.

Habs fire Dom Ducharme and hire Martin St-Louis as coach. That's rather baffling to me, St-Louis has no coaching experience except for coaching his kids on a U-13 team in Connecticut. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

Rat Marchand suspended 6 games for his idiocy. I just don't get it. He's an extremely talented player, but he just can't stop being an asshole.

That's due to the ignominy of getting your heads kicked in by the New Jersey Devils (who will also almost certainly have someone different behind the bench in October, if not sooner)
