I think Brady is greater, but QB's play longer now thanks to the combo of rules protecting them, advancements in sports medicine/training,and non legal enchancers. I don't think you can hold it against Montana or any other elite's of the past that they couldn't play at a top level for 2 decades.

This was the easiest by far of all of Brady's titles to swallow because he wasn't playing for a Boston team. He also beat one of the Raiders rivals in the process.
Also, all four major sports had a team from Florida playing for the most recent title in their respective sport. 3 of those from Tampa and the fourth being the Miami Heat against the Lakers.

Boring a$$ Super Bowl ,unless u r a TB or TB fan .
But congrats to Bucs fans and glad to see Arians win one.
I knew Bucs D was good, but thought KCC would score more and make a game of it.

Now I feel worse that the Chiefs lost since it would have made the 49ers Super Bowl loss more tolerable if they lost to a great team and a potential dynasty.
No way will Mahomes ever get close to 7 titles since he does not play in the AFC Least where Brady got 2 automatic home playoff games every year.
I thought the Chiefs pass D was pretty good and guess I was wrong, They should have lost the Nov 2020 game and win the Super Bowl the game that matters.
It did not help the refs were favoring the Bucs and Brady and not letting the Chiefs defenders play and let a washed up Gronk beat them.

Cancel the 2021 season and give the title to Brady again
It will be beyond stupid to think anybody will have a chance next year.

As a franchise long Jags fan all I can do is laugh. We'll squander him by either not protecting him, or not adjusting our offense or defense to his play style, or he'll get injured and then he'll get traded to some team where he'll immediately go to the superbowl. Hell, there were two prominent ex-Jags in last night's game alone let alone all the numerous players and coaches we've had that left and then found greatness.

It's probably fitting that Los Angeles and Florida have been the COVID champs.

As for the game itself.. I didn't care who won or lost but as I get older I find myself rooting for the older folks more often than not so I'm good with this. Mahomes is a great player and will quite likely have many more opportunities.

He does have catchy songs but it just wasn't a very entertaining half-time show and the sound quality was terrible. I heard he spent $7m of his own money on this to make it even more spectacular but I think he deserves a refund. As someone on twitter said "For the first time in my life I couldn't wait for the weekend to be over."

Arians, though, absolutely.
I do think Mahomes is probably a transcendent QB, but in looking up SB teams, it's certainly not pretty. Taking Brady (and Mahomes) out of it for a second, basically few got back to the SB with the same QB except the Seahawks, Steelers and Giants. Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Carson Wentz/Nick Foles, Goff, heck even Garappolo, you'd be hard pressed to really believe any of them are the next big thing anymore.
Still makes me a bit sad how tiny the Goff/Gurley window really was.

Um, nope Big Shot Rob. Not the same thing. He's the GOAT, you're a useful role player who might have played out the bulk of your career in relative anonymity if you hadn't thrown a towel in the face of your coach in Phoenix.

Don't be surprised if Tampa makes a run at being undefeated next season. They have the NFL's easiest schedule and tons of free agents will take pay cuts for a ring with Tom Brady. If Brady restructures his salary, it's going to be unfair for the rest of the league.

Plus if he's gonna throw his hat in the ring, then you have to count the 7 Habs players who have between 8 and 11 Stanley Cup rings, and 1 Hab player who has 7.
