John Cena, Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Sasha Banks, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H provide a major update on the upcoming sites for The Showcase of the Immortals in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

I don't know about this April, but hopefully fans will able to attend WM in 22 and 23.

Because they always do and Vince is set in his ways.

Also because they have a WrestleMania set that was constructed for Tampa and never used, so they don't have to build a new one.

I keep noticing how Austin Theory styles his hair and it looks like he has the beginnings of a comb over. It’s styled to swoop down from the side of his head to cover the front of his hairline. I think he has Balding Buck problems.

That WrestleMania video was stupid. Also Cena definitely looks smaller now than he used to. You can tell he’s not a full time in-ring performer anymore.

Re: The 2021 Pro Wrestling Thread.

That WrestleMania spot was beyond terrible. I just saw it live on the first Raw I've bothered to watch in over a month and it pretty much guaranteed I won't watch for at least another one. I've already cancelled my WWE Network subscription and screwball sketches aren't going to get me back. Hell, I can't even tell who are the faces and the heels anymore.
I won't deny that Alexa Bliss is doing a good job with her character , but the approach they are taking with her does NOT belong on a wrestling program.

I'm still not sure why anyone thinks it's a good idea to stretch WM out over 2 days.

I'm not sure what WWE's thought process is, but personally, if they insist on doing 6 hour shows for WrestleMania, I find it much easier to digest in 2 three hour blocks.

At this point, I'm more interested in the post Wrestlemania reset than I am in the culmination of everything in WM. That's really backwards, but it saves me money I guess.

Oh, you don't remember? Bianca Belair was called up to Raw and then promptly forgotten about until about a month before she was drafted to Smackdown, lol.

BIG reset.

Re: The 2021 Pro Wrestling Thread.

With NXT being on tv (and being shit now) and no past wrestlers that anyone wants to see come back I'm not sure what they can do post WM. Is anyone excited to see Brock come back? Who else is there? Punk? Ok he would get me to watch but short of him I don't think there is anything they can do.

Re: The 2021 Pro Wrestling Thread.

I still enjoy NXT. The women's division especially, it's crazy stacked right now.

I expect to see Rhea Ripley called up sooner than later though, perhaps as soon as next week.

The Undisputed Era as faces and Kyle O'Reilly as a singles star are new and have been great. Looking forward to Timothy Thatcher vs. Ciampa in the Fight Pit tonight.

Re: The 2021 Pro Wrestling Thread.

UE are great but they are underutilized and calling them up would be criminal IMO.

When was the last time Ripley won a match?

Vince is hoping that Covid is somewhat controlled by then. Rumors are that he's planning on allowing 25K fans to attend the show each night and because it's Florida, he'll get away with holding a super spreader event.

She was putting people over on her way out the door having great matches and making them all look great. Io, Toni Storm, and Raquel Gonzalez are all bigger stars now because of her. I would be surprised to see her in NXT again after the way she put over Raquel. I expect her to have a good showing in the Rumble, and pop up on Raw or Smackdown next week.

The recent losses won't hurt her at all, as they're pretty much back to pretending NXT doesn't exist on the main shows

Re: The 2021 Pro Wrestling Thread.

Renee Paquette (Renee Young) has a podcast now where she does interviews, mainly AEW talent because her husband is there. I fully expected her to do something else similar to Coachman but I realize she's pregnant and all.

Anyway, one of the things that came up was Eddie Kingston negotiating with both WWE and AEW before finally deciding on the latter. Now there's a guy I just don't think Vince would let get over in WWE, just from looks alone.

I didn't listen to the podcast, but it surprises me very much that WWE was even an option for him. The only way I could see it happening is because he was an unsigned guy who appeared on AEW in a prominent role, and they thought they could just steal him and send him right to NXT on the same night as AEW. If HHH liked him at all, I could see him getting some good stuff to do in NXT, but if he was ever called up to Raw or Smackdown, he would be jobbed to hell.

As we can see by your avatar, you are clearly a Trump supporter and like to live in a world without facts or consequences. The fact is that Jericho made this moronic tweet

The consequences is that people found receipts of Jericho donating a lot of money to Trump, which makes his point of not being a political person complete horseshit and show how much of a hypocrite he is. Another consequence for his moronic support of a traitor is that people like us don't want him on our TVs anymore, the same way we don't want MyPillows at the stores. If someone has a very shitty opinion and support someone who tried to do a coup on the US, then is our right to push back on it. This isn't something new.

Chris Jericho has been dog shit since 98. I'm not sure there is a more overrated wrestler.

Even if he can’t wrestle anymore at least he’s still the greatest frontman on the planet
