Wash survives. Not sure what their future is. Really need Alex back. Never thought I would have said this a month or 2 ago.
So the NFC East has taken down PIT, SEA, and NO in the last week. Go figure.

To be honest I was expecting the "winner" of NFC East to be somebody with a 5-11 or 6-10 record. But maybe a few of those top teams were either looking down or looking ahead, and ended up losing to the worst division as a result.

You'd only end up wondering why he's sucking on your upper thigh.
Mark my words, the Jets will win a game. They can't even tank properly. Last game of the season could be New England laying down like dogs, thus keeping Trevor Lawrence out of their division.

Raiders fired DC Paul Guenther immediately after the loss on Sunday. Even Greg Williams lasted until the following Monday.

Thank you Buffalo. Now the Chiefs have a one game lead and the tie breaker to the 1 Seed and can afford to lose to either the Saints or the Falcons and still get the only Bye.

If the Chiefs beat the Saints maybe nobody will challenge them this year.
I don't trust Goff to outduel Mahomes and the Packers might have a chance if the Chiefs D does not show up.
The Steelers probably feasted on a weak schedule and played teams at the right time to get their record.

Alex Smith is a nice story but dam he really sucks if he struggles to move the ball against a depleted 49er defense.

I still think the game against the Saints has a chance to be a loss for the Chiefs and they will win the final two games against the Falcons and Chargers.

Will it? There's no way they go forward with that kicker who had a historic bad day. He was the first to attempt at least three FG and an Extra Point and miss them all since 1961 - - and that was a TE, before teams had a dedicated place kicker.

Gustkowski(Titans FG kicker) was also horrible earlier this year yet he remains with the Titans and kicked the winning FG yesterday.

The Browns, on the other hand, can put themselves in a good position to challenge the Steelers for the division title if they can get past the Ravens tonight. They have the Giants and Jets left on their schedule before what could end up being a pretty dramatic final week second game against the Steelers.

The Steelers will beat the Bengals next week, but will lose to the Colts and Browns. That'll make them 1-4 in their last 5 games.
Again, their offence is easy to figure out. No deep plays... everything is thrown short. No running game until they get a real RB. Their secondary still isn't very good - as usual.
This is why I was never excited about their 11-0 record, which is the reason I predicted them being 9-7 this year.

So true. On many occasions after he pulled from his guard position to lead the sweep around end for another Jim Taylor TD, Jerry Kramer would have to catch his breath and go kick the extra point.

There is a difference between one historically bad game like Crosby and sustained bad run of poor/awful performance with the likes of Gostowski or Dan Bailey this season and Adam Vinatieri last season. There is no doubt that Vinatieri cost Indy games last year, but the coach/team decided to be loyal and stayed with him for the whole year. Also, it will be difficult to swap out kickers and just bring another guy in off the street, so these issues are usually addressed at end of season unless it's blatantly obvious that the current kicker has completely lost it or got injured.

I know I have said this before in NFL threads but it bears repeating : I can understand with the demands and complexities of the offenses in today's NFL how there may not be 32 men in the United States with the skill, strength, intellect, poise and leadership required to be an NFL starting quarterback. But there is no way I can accept that between all the pro, college and soccer players around with world that we can't find 32 men (or women) with enough leg strength, accuracy and mental fortitude to consistently and reliably make extra points and FGs inside of 40 yards.

Maybe the Bills are the second best team in the NFL.
Not sure if they could beat the Chiefs after getting whipped by them in a MNF game but it might be a closer game if Allen continues to play like this.

I have seen Mayfield play a few times already this year but they seem to have only shown the bad games here locally so far this year (week one against the Ravens, the blowout loss to the Steelers, and I caught some of the boring loss to the Raiders). The Mayfield that just marched down the field against the Ravens, on the other hand, was impressive as hell.
