2019 NFL Regular Season Week 15 Thread

I'll go ahead and get this thread started. I don't know if LorenzoL is busy again to do his usual thread. It's the last week for Thursday Night Football.

Last TNF game and it is a horrible matchup.

I checked all of my lineups and made sure I am not starting Darnold in any league.

Time flies when TNF ends this week and no more TNF until Sept 2020.

I would not be shocked if the Chargers beat the Vikings.

It seems like the game MN would lose and Green Bay lost earlier in the year in LA.

Oakland Raiders fans brace for team's final home NFL game ever.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...le/4398168002/

It will sad to see the team leave Oakland, but they really had no choice. They were never going to get a new stadium in Oakland, and the current one opened in 1966 and is in horrible shape.

I agree. Rare case where they kind of had to leave. Honestly I wonder why they ever went back and left the LA market

TNF and he's injured, but people kind of have to lock and load Lamar Jackson in fantasy at this point of the season, especially against the Jets. Now watch him implode tonight.

I have often wondered why the team left LA myself. With the Rams leaving for St Louis, they could have the whole town, and quite possibly a new stadium all to themselves for awhile now.

I thought they left because the city wouldn't pay for renovations to the Colliseum?

I believe this means no more infield dirt in an NFL game again, ever? That's something that should have ended sometime around 1980.

Correct. It was the last dual purpose (football/baseball) field left in the league.

I'll be at the Giants-Dolphins game. Why I'm going to torture myself is another question. Not saying I want the Giants to lose, but...Chase Young.

Good luck on getting the loss. Dolphins play the Bengals in week 16, there's significance in that game, just not for the right reasons.

The biggest matchup for the Giants is going to be against the Redskins. If they beat the Redskins, the Skins will leapfrog the Giants in the draft will likely take Chase Young. That is the "must-lose" game for me.

Is this going to be like a practice squad scrimmage?

You're assuming that the Bengals are taking a QB?

I would assume they are taking Burrow.

Joe had it coming to him since he pulled this stunt back in 2003:

That's what all the smart money says. I will remind everyone that Mike Brown is not necessarily the "smart money".

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Week 15 Thread

It would be weird if for the third year in a row a QB came out of nowhere in a season and goes from not on anyone's first round draft board in August to the #1 overall pick. Not saying it won't happen, but I don't recall it ever happening like that before 2017 (maybe with JaMarcus Russell)

I don't know what MetLife Stadium is like, but I know Giants Stadium got awfully cold and windy this time of year

No Rashaad Penny, no team in town, Cowboys are mediocre - I've lost my enthusiasm for the NFL for the rest of the season.

The only thing that I've got to look forward to is the Patriots losing - if they continue to struggle. And that's questionable.

Forecast right now is mid 40's with 15-25mph winds. For me with my FL thinned out blood it's going to suck. I'm packing my layers now.
