That and the Canadian dollars will make it very tough economically. Toronto fans love supporting a winner but if they donít do well, they bail unless you are the Leafs and now, it seems the Raptors are building a good base.

And Spanos was basically getting daily death threats in SD their last year. Why are Raiders fans acting like everything is great? Denial or just really loyal to the team?

I should also note that Mark Davis has been very good with the local LV community, donating to local charities, showing up and sitting with the fans in the good seats (as opposed to the suites) at Golden Knights and LV Aces games.
The Mercury News still covers them and gives them more ink than the 49ers who are closer to SJ playing in Santa Clara than the Raiders.

They are really loyal and probably some stupidity too. That would be similar to still loving your ex-wife or girlfriend after she dumped you.

Las Vegas still requires a plane ride or areally long car trip.

I wonder if KPIX will carry most of their game in Vegas like KRON did in the 80's and early 90's?

Imagine the cars you could buy with all that money?

Yea, without a new stadium it'll never happen.
And there's no chance a stadium will get built unless there are assurances a team is coming.

The Vikings all-time leading scorer, Fred Cox, passed away earlier this week. I had never heard of him before. But his bigger claim to fame is that he invented the Nerf football.

NFL Films did a segment on him and the Nerf:

I am very surprised the NFL selected OJ Simpson as one of the NFL 100 all time team running backs. Not doubting he was great on the football field, but his personal life, yikes!

Yeah, I thought that was a problematic selection. Hope they donít invite him to Miami for a Super Bowl celebration. I imagine that the NFL wants to parade as many of these guys as possible out for a tribute.

Kroenke would have never let it happen but if the Raiders had been the one to move to LA, they'd be selling out and probably be the number one team over the Rams.

Without a doubt. And they probably still will be the most popular team in L.A. in Vegas.

Speaking as someone who plans on selling most of his tickets on the secondary market for the next 20-30 years, I sure hope so.

Even though it's better for me, that roughing-the-passer call on the Raiders couple minutes ago was one of the worst calls I've seen all year

Everything is in the Jets favor for this game and I hope they can keep the lead.

That bomb was in Metcalf’s hands but he couldn’t hold on

Saints might want to cover McCaffrey out of the backfield.

What a stiff-arm by J. Washington for the TD. Just sit down.

And it's not like they couldn't have found 5 or 10 other guys to put in that place that would fit the criteria. IMO if he's the best, put him on the list. But yeah they could have avoided it pretty easily without raising any eyebrows.

Two-thirds of the way through the game, and Tyler Lockett just got his first target.

Miles Sanders has looked good on some of his runs. Other than that, Philly is just dumping it off to their TEs (Ertz and Goedert have 10 catches for 38 yards).

As much as I love Saquon the player, heís been a huge bust in fantasy this year. Most of us who drafted him passed on CMC to make matters worse.

Did Carson get hurt? Penny to the house. Have stashed him on my bench since my draft.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

No, Carson’s still playing, but for some reason Penny has gotten more carries, I assume because he has the proverbial hot hand. He’s on one of my benches too, and I started Miles Sanders ahead of him.

Carson just got a carry, in fact... and fumbled it.

And he just dropped it on the next carry, and lost it this time. Are you fucking kidding me?
