Dayton had their chances in the final minute....should have jacked up the 3 on the earlier possession to force the big fella out earlier. Then couldn't convert the terrible KU in-bound pass. Ugh.
Meanwhile, UVA beat Maine 46-26. God...just take the Under in their games blindfolded. You'll make money. 116 is the high so far.

Yeah I was shocked they couldn't convert after that turnover under Dayton basket. Dodged a bullet there. Azubuke is such a mismatch for most teams. He could be dangerous if he stays healthy, stays out of foul trouble and begins to hit his FTs.

While watching a game at the gym, I just saw Dick Vitale do an in-game remote from his hotel balcony and it looked awful, clearly not what they had planned. Is he sick or something.

I am a Michigan fan, and so did I. I like Juwan, but with no head coaching experience, I figured he was a big step down from Beilein. It's early of course, but I'm pleasantly surprised so far.

Louisville gave a nice humbling Tuesday night. Now the real coaching begins for Juwan. Time to bound back and hammer the Hawkeyes.

Doesn't seem like it, but I only paid close attention to MICH/LOU and ND/MD. I still really have no idea how good Maryland is. But the next 3 games should help with that - 3 top-50 KenPom opponents with 2 on the road. Still haven't played a road game.
Can't believe the UVA/PUR game went Over with UVA scoring 40.

Ugh, I'm going to Waco to watch the Arizona/Baylor game on Saturday but Nico Mannion (back) and Josh Green (strep throat) haven't practiced all week and aren't sure to play, and Stone Gettings is out with a concussion and facial fracture. Throw in a morning tip time and the fact that Baylor is literally giving away all the tickets and it's going to be a weird atmosphere and probably a loss. I'm hoping Oklahoma gets out to an early lead in the Big 12 CG to take the energy out of the crowd.

Enjoy the game. So it's at the same time as the Big XII Championship? That is weird.

Yep the kick and tip times are the same, which I'm sure thrilled the Baylor folks. I'll be really curious what the attendance is like.

Way more Arizona than Baylor fans here, although pretty sparse attendance overall. Going to be a weird vibe.

It's still rather early in the season, but Ohio State looks scary good so far. Unless OSU gets upset by Wisconsin (a definite possibility), they might win titles in Football and Basketball this season.

Agree, I'm surprised at how dominant they've been against good competition. I thought they would be decent, but they've well surpassed my expectations so far. It's a long season though.

Maryland was so lucky to escape with a win over Illinois yesterday. Every game they start out so slowly.
I'm sure Baylor fans would trade the BB win for a FB win yesterday.

Kansas beat #20 Colorado like a drum in Lawrence yesterday. Felt like the old Big 8 days. Their size is going to give a lot of teams trouble this year.

That's the dumbest map I have ever seen. SDSU gets 20 times the acreage as tOSU and Louisville why exactly? Because all the other unbeatens are East of the Mississippi?
