I wanted to watch that game last night but I'm on the east coast this weekend and it started/finished so insanely late I just couldn't justify going past half-time.

Nice win for Herm Edwards team.

Watching Northwestern @ #8 Wisconsin . Was a 4 point ball game, but that one penalty by that NW player on the return was a game changer.

Man, if Arkansas beats A&M ... Alabama could go 8 weeks without playing ranked team before facing LSU in November

It looked like the rout was on early for Wisconsin, but UW committed a similar costly special teams blunder (and not their last) in the 1Q. Wisconsin did everything they could to keep NW hanging around. Very typical for a UW - NW game for some reason.

It would also mean that Clemson will likely have played ZERO currently ranked teams when being granted a spot in the CFP.

It is nice to see teams like Clemson and Alabama finally getting a break now and then.

And nope, Clemson escapes, barring the onside kick.

Heck of an effort by UNC. That said, strange choice of play for the 2-pointer...trying to have your QB outrun the Clemson defense made up of 5-star athletes. He was hit by 3 players before reaching the LOS.

Nice to see the UW Huskies beat a ranked conference opponent after the weird home conference loss a couple weeks ago.

I don't understand why Mack Brown thought he had to go for two? They were playing Clemson about as evenly as any team has in quite some time. Kick the extra point, tie the game, play defense and take your chances in OT.

Or at least have a trick play up your sleeve if you are going for two. Like you said, UNC's QB was not going to out run Clemson's defense. Wasted opportunity by UNC.

I have no problem with the decision, but man, that was a horrible play call. It never had a chance.

Does anyone think we might see a new #1 when the polls are released today?

We better,

Alabama is the clear #1.

Based on season to date, Clemson should be 4.

And I forgot about Georgia.

LSU 2
tOSU 3

It really doesn't matter.
