Thursday night games start on Fox tonight. The Eagles/Packers game might actually be good.

Reminder, you can watch tonight's game in 4k, with Fox Sports app with a compatible device or if your provider has 4k channels. On DirecTV, it is channel 105 I believe.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Jaguars @ Broncos the late game in the Bay Area. So exciting

The second week in a row CBS has a all NFC matchup Vikings @ Bears in the late doubleheader slot.

They should have moved Pats @ Bills to the late slot and if they had Chiefs @ Lions that would be a good doubleheader game too.

That's the first PI review I've seen that didn't stay with the original call

I never buying Downey brand ever again.

That's the first PI review I've seen that didn't stay with the original call
I'm still settling in,but that offense holding call looked weak ,glad they overturned it.

Davante Adams already with 147 yards receiving and there's still 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

I'd like to see him break the record.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Its the first game of the year that Chiefs will be on Fox. I don't know who they'll have calling the game. It's the first regular season game for Mahomes in a dome with the Chiefs playing the Lions. That should be interesting.

See the OP. It's Kevin Burkhardt and Charles Davis. Both are really good.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Yeah good game or close , I knew philly D was not that good.Old man Rodgers leading rusher for the Pack.

Packers defense is pretenders. They folded up like a cheap suit against Wentz and the running game. Here we are again, and it’s up to Rodgers. And I started them in two FF leagues . LOL

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Running back Jamaal Williams was carted off after a scary hit on the Packers’ first play from scrimmage.
I did not see the start, and just found out about Williams.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

This is like the bizarro TNF game, where I should have started all the offensive players and not the defenses.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

So a Packers player carted off very early in the game, and now an Eagles player carted off very close to the end of the game.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Wow, last 2 possessions by GB got them deep into the redzone and both were turnovers (on downs and INT).

It was an entertaining game.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

That was Maddox the 2nd player with a serious injury.

Take away the penalties and injuries and you'd have a great game.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Eagles vs Packers filled the quota of the 1 or 2 good TNF games every season.

Maybe they meet in the playoffs?

At least the Packers will have 10 days to prepare for the Cowboys

Re: NFL week 4 2019

I have a feeling the Cowboys are going to get a reality check in New Orleans.

Their offense is good but they can't rush the passer and they have played a soft schedule so far.

The Cowboys offensive strengths match the Packers defensive weaknesses. For GB it will have to be another shootout, which will be a challenge if the Adams, Bulaga, and Williams injuries linger.

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Oh, and let me add that last night was another absurd display of PI replay calls/no calls. So once again, thanks a lot Saints crybabies and NFL cowards for this completely idiotic rule change

Re: NFL week 4 2019

Rex Ryan is not a fan of Baker Mayfield

Ryan slammed Mayfield on ESPN's Get Up on Monday, after the Browns lost to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night to fall to 1-2.

"I don't get it. I'd love to be an offensive coordinator here,'' Ryan said of Cleveland. "If I have Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb and there's Baker Mayfield -- yeah, I know he's overrated as hell. ..."When pressed to expound, Ryan said, "Look, I bought into the dang hype. I'm like, 'Oh, yeah' -- not to the point where everyone's saying he's going to be the league MVP."What's he doing right? Here's a guy right now that's a one-read guy, and then he's going to improvise. He's gotta realize that you are one of the slowest guys on that field when you take off with it.

The other thing, the ball's not coming out in rhythm. You're staring down guys, and you're not that accurate down the field."

Packers can't run and can't stop the run. Cowboys will put up 200 yds rushing, control the clock, and kill them with play action. Hard to win a shootout sitting on the bench.

The Eagles did basically that and if the Packers score from two 1st and goals in the 4th quarter they put up 40+ on the Eagles, so It can be done. I just don't know if they can minus some key players.
