Antonio Brown is a trainwreck. I really can't believe that the Patriots signed him.

Then again, I can. No team cheats and bends the rules as much as New England.

If there is any truth to these allegations against Brown I hope he never plays another down.

Is there any way to watch (stream) tomorrow's game?
I dropped Directv and now I have youtube TV but it doesn't have the NFL Network

It might stream on your phone through the NFL app. Can't Chromecast it though.

I work at NFL Network and no the game does not stream free on NFL.com. You will have to sign in with a supported provider since it’s an NFL Network exclusive. Unless the game is being simulcast on a OTA station in that local market, then I believe it will.

If a person was friendly with someone who has NFL Network in their cable package they could ask them if they would mind lending them their TV provider login so they could stream it from the NFL site. They could have them change to a temporary password for their use and change it back after the game. Theoretically.

Do's and Don'ts:
DO Have some food delivered to their home from their favorite takeout joint to show their appreciation.
DON'T Lock them out of their account or add bunch of adult channels to their subscription (or cancel them if already subscribed).

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 2

I would not be shocked if the Bengals beat the 49ers.

I wish Rams @ Saints was a SNF game but I guess FOX had first dibs.

Not a great schedule with a lot of mismatches.

Vikings vs Packers, Rams vs Saints, Sea vs Steelers, and Colts vs Titans the only games that matter.

Jets vs Browns the game that decides who has a better shot of making the playoffs and the loser probably headed towards a bad season.

It sounds bad but maybe the best thing to happen would be if these allegations are true so there would be something and somebody to knock some sense into his head since he has been a total prick since late 2018.

I truly believe he’s guilty. It just fits with his attitude. That being said, no way he won’t suit up for the Pats. He might miss a few games but he’ll play eventually.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 2

Pressure is starting to mount to take action against AB...

This is just one opinion piece, (written by Chritine Brennan, who is a well respected sports journalist), but I'm sure it won't be the last.
No one yet knows who is telling the truth, Brown or Britney Taylor, who chose to make her name public as she presented the allegations, but if we’ve learned anything in the #MeToo era, it’s that we should listen to women.

That doesn’t mean kicking Brown out of the league, or even suspending him. Not yet, and perhaps not ever.

What it means is taking the lawsuit seriously enough to stash Brown away somewhere for the time being while Taylor’s allegations are investigated.

That somewhere? The commissioner’s exempt list, the place where the NFL’s bad boys go to get paid and get out of the way.

The NFL is not a court of law. It’s a sports league that understandably cares very much about optics. It also can control what it puts on the field for public consumption.

This coming Sunday, Brown’s Patriots will play the Dolphins in Miami. Let us all picture the scene if Brown is on the field. Let’s envision the players and teams around the league who will be given short-shrift if Brown, the man newly accused of sexual assault, is catching Tom Brady’s passes, perhaps scoring touchdowns and generally becoming the face of the league.

This wouldn’t be the dream start to the league’s much-ballyhooed 100th season that the NFL has anticipated. It would be a nightmare.

But it’s so easily avoided. Over the years, the list of players who have landed on the commissioner’s exempt list include Michael Vick, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy and Kareem Hunt. Some have called it paid leave. For others, it’s more of a penalty box.

For now, it's the perfect place for Brown, at least for the time being. He’s not guilty of anything right now (other than the past few weeks’ ridiculousness). But, with accusations pending, including graphic text messages that could corroborate one of Taylor’s allegations, he shouldn’t have the privilege of playing football this week, not in the NFL of 2019.

At this point I imagine Drew Rosenhaus is like a real life Jerry Maguire. Heís on the line with Brown so long all the other athletes heís trying to represent are slowly dropping off the other lines.

The other athletes represented by Rosenhaus must feel like red headed step children by now.

49ers stayed back in Ohio this week. But agree I think Bengals win, unless the 49ers offense plays better then last week.
Cut down on the penalties and get our running game going. and.... hehe
Had like 2 or 3 TDs called back .

Take a hard pass on Thursdays game.

But yeah, Vikings vs Packers, Rams vs Saints, both look like should be very good games. I'll take the Vikings and N'O'leans.
KCC vs Raiders should be a high scoring game.Who is going to be the #3 receiver?

Rookie qb for the jags getting his first start for the jags. Yeah I play FF.
Not reading much on Brown, dude is just a big tool.

New England going to hang 60+ on Miami just to show up the Ravens.

Not having AB on the field would be a good look for the NFL.

I have a feeling Dolphins vs Pats will not be a huge blowout.

I think Miami shows up after the disaster from week 1 and play hard but lose.

Isn't Brady 1-5 in his last 6 games in Miami?

that's what I was afraid of
anyhow I decided to do the playstation vue free trial
I'd probably make the jump to PS Vue but they don't carry my local NBC so I'd be out of luck on Sunday Nights,OTA wouldn't be an option for NBC. Such is life in the sticks

That, and the more general issue with people seeming to think they can prognosticate how the rest of the season, or even the games on the season's second weekend, will go based on a sample size of one game. Truthfully, we don't know how bad the Dolphins are, nor do we know how good the Patriots are. Even their own coaches don't have a complete handle on that yet. For all we know, any competent QB would have turned the Steelers secondary into Swiss cheese last Sunday night. Maybe the Ravens are just that amazing and are not getting enough credit for it because they were playing the Dolphins.

Gardner Minshew the next big star.

He completed his first 13 passes against the Chiefs

That very optimistic. My guess is Brady torches them and ends up with another lopsided win. The man is very driven and I am sure that he is completely aware of his recent struggles down in South Beach.

Love the name and the look. He should be playing in a 70's throwback uniform. That is if the Jags existed back in the 70's.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 2

Trevor Siemian will start for the Jets on MNF. Jets fans already to call it a season .

Sam Darnold was out of practice yesterday with what was designated “illness.”

Now that they know which one it is, he may be out even longer.

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Jets coach Adam Gase said his quarterback would miss this week’s game against the Browns after being diagnosed with mononucleosis.
