This Maryland team could be for real. 79 points last week. Up 28-7 on the ‘Cuse before the half.

Harbaugh's post-game press conference ticket prices are currently skyrocketing on the aftermarket.

San Diego State - 23
UCLA - 14

San Diego State owns the Pac 12 (recent wins over Stanford, Arizona State, Cal, and UCLA).

Nothing puts a smile on my face than seeing what FSU is stuck with. Oregon really got lucky (and they've rebounded nicely against an albeit bad Nevada team, winning 70-6).

Edit: Make that 77-6.

Lightning and thunder in Seattle so the UW-Cal game has been delayed.

Re: 2019 College Football: Week 2

And after all the weather shenanigans and basically starting the game at 10:30 p.m., UW Huskies end up losing on a last-second FG at home to an unranked in-conference team. Ouch.

That's all well and good, but the only somewhat fair comparison on that list is Notre Dame.

Maybe, but the point is San Diego State has owned the Pac 12 for the last 4 years.

I know it’s weak competition and they rarely do much against B10 rivals, but have to shout out defensive back Antoine Winfield Jr. and my Minnesota Golden Gophers. Two years in a row he makes a game winning interception in the end zone against Fresno State.

Apparently he did not need the money.

Two take aways that I noticed fro Week 2:
UCLA football program is in a world of hurt.
Michigan better get their head out their @55.

On the Doug Gottlieb show, they were saying that USC had been actively interviewing for the spot for a few weeks. They didn't say if he was in on that, or just found out about it.

Swann has been under fire for keeping Clay Helton after last season and the athletic scandal that got the Water Polo coach fired.

That's all well and good, but at least for the Helton part, they just won a big game against Stanford without their starting QB (out for the season) behind a true freshman QB, and they looked good (Granted, Stanford's starting QB was also out, but I don't think many gave them a chance of winning). If you wanted to fire him (and Helton) wait a few weeks when they go through their killer schedule. Otherwise it feels like something big is about to drop scandal-wise or something.
