Re: 2018 NFL Playoffs - Conference Championships 01/20/2019

Gift wrapped for LA.

So let me go off on a tangent about why I have an issue with instant replay ...

IF a sport is going to use instant replay, there should be NO limitations on what it is/isn’t used for. We’ll review meaningless catches, but won’t even consider a penalty non-call that just changed which team is playing in the Super Bowl.

This could potentially be the first Super Bowl I do not watch in decades. LA + NE = no AT.

The Saints have reasons to be upset.

That's what I was hoping for. Either Saints-Pats (two over-40s) or Chiefs-Rams (24yo vs. 23yo plus Andy Reid drought vs. 33yo head coach) make the best story, most especially the latter.

Yup, they lost the game. One bad call (and it was baaaad) does not excuse the fact that they failed to win, especially at home, or the fact that their offense has been anemic for weeks now.

Glad the Rams won. But the Saints got SUPER screwed today, plus they screwed themselves by not running the ball in the end of the 4th quarter too eat up more time and rams time outs..

Absolute bullcrap game. Wrong team won. Refs miss the most obvious PI (helmet to helmet no less).

At least I hit Under 56.5. Should have won a lot more.

But it does. You are right in the fact that the Saints offense was anemic but the Rams should had not a chance to march the field after the Saints FG. The Rams looked much better in the second half but their offense was also anemic and did not once lead the game in regulation.

100% this. Any other match up and Iím not really interested.

Chiefs v Rams rematch is the best narrative.

Re: 2018 NFL Playoffs - Conference Championships 01/20/2019

Payton's was pretty upset while talking to Erin Andrews. He looked like he was ready to cry. He said the Refs told him the ball came at the same time of the contact and that's why it was a no call.

But he was professional and wasn't angry or bitter. He did say they needed to use replay on that call.

The effectiveness of the run game is making it look easy for the Pats.

If Mahomes keeps throwing that shit away, they’re going to get creamed 40-0.
