I think the Rams can pull it out if their CBs don't fall asleep. Talib didn't play week 9 and Peters have a shitty game. They scored enough points in that game to win (35), but giving up 45 didn't help.

Weather should be "warmer" than initially forecast. Fourth quarter was looking like 0 or 1 but now is trending towards 14. And snow will stop Saturday afternoon.

Seems unlikely that both road teams would advance this year based on recent trends.
The Saints offense peaked in Nov and they were putting up over 400 yards of offense and since Dec the number dropped to around 200 yards and their offense has been in a slump with multiple O line injuries and Rankins is out on defense.

The Eagles should have beaten them. Put all your coverage on Michael Thomas since they don't have anything else besides Kamara to scare you.

Spencer Ware and Eric Berry are practicing and might play and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif could return too.

Anybody but the Patriots. I respect what they have done for the past 18 years, but I am sick of them at this point. I'll say Chiefs vs Saints.

We'll be happy to see the sun. It's been foggy for days. They keeping adjusting the temps higher. Sunday might turn out okay. Too bad the game is at night.

I was at the Packers-49ers game in 2014. I think the official temp was something like 5 degF at kickoff, but because it was the late game on Sunday when it got dark during the first half the temperature started plummeting. Doesn't this look cozy?

It was below zero by the time I got to the car after the game. Then a few hours later a polar air mass finished moving in (the dreaded polar vortex!!) and the temps dropped even further in a hurry. By the time I got back to the Minneapolis area just hours after the game ended it was 25 degrees below zero. And that was the actual air temperature. The wind chill was between -50 and -60 degrees (-70 to -80 under the "old" calculation). If that front had come through a few hours earlier it would have made the Ice Bowl feel like a day at the beach.

That was the playoff game when Kaep lead the Niners to a victory and then beat CAR on the road in the following week?

I wouldn't want to know what that feels like. I've been in -21 windchill and that was painful enough.

That's the one. On the final drive of a tied game GB's Micah Hyde missed a pick 6 chance and the Niners went on to kick a FG with 0:00 on the clock to win.

So many people hate the Patriots. But I think they're going to beat KC easily. They've been in this situation so many times, there's just zero pressure on them - they'll be ready and relaxed.

As for the NFC, I like the Saints at home.

Yup, many times, but they are 0 for their last 3 in AFC Championship games that do not occur in Gillette Stadium. They haven't won an away game in this situation since they beat the Steelers at Heinz Field 15 years ago. History is actually against them here.

My two least favorite teams in the NFL are the Patriots and Saints, so they will obviously advance.

I miss the sun, I still haven't left my house yet today. I wish one of the games was on tv today. There's only three football games left for the season.

Hope you had a chance to go outside when the sun came out. Felt good to feel it even though it's still cold.

The entire city is super-pumped. Last time the Brady Bunch was in town that is when we set the record for loudest stadium, which still stands. Hoping for the same outcome. While I'd settle for just a win, a dream game would call for total embarrassment of New England. Oh, and tonight is a Super Wolf Blood Moon. It's a sign

Re: 2018 NFL Playoffs - Conference Championships 01/20/2019

I should start betting serious money against the teams I want to win. I guess I’m cursed in being a Vikings fan, and a fan of underdogs generally, but these games never go my way. I went back to the 2000 playoffs, and of the 11 games per year, I’ve never been better than 5-6, and am averaging 3.7 ‘wins’ per year.

The crowd noise really does have the Rams flustered so far.

I figured this would happen. I want it to be Rams vs Chiefs but it’ll be Saints Pats.

Ballsy move by the Rams on that fake punt, but they have a good success rate with it.

Feels like the Rams are settling down. They'll be in good shape if they can march and score on this drive.
