But keep in mind MIN was down 20-7 in that game at one point.

Regardless, you can't point to a September loss as the reason why they didn't make the playoffs. What about the other 7 games they lost? They lost to JAX and BUF too. Why aren't those the games that kept them out of the playoffs?
GB was a winnable game while BUF wasn't. They didn't play JAX.

You are right, JAX was a preseason game.

And you are dead wrong BUF wasn't a winnable game. It was. They should have won by a large margin instead of getting their asses handed to them.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 17

What a crybaby douche
The Buccaneers hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3; it was Brent Grimes’ first game of the season, due to an injury. He was asked to shadow Steelers’ All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown, and rather than taking it as a challenge to rise to, Grimes was offended.

Incredibly, Grimes said the fact that his salary for 2018 was $7 million meant he shouldn’t have been asked, since top cover corners make roughly twice that to follow top wideouts like Brown.

“That’s not right,” Grimes said on his wife Miko’s show, IHeartMiko. “That’s disrespectful and it messed up my whole vibe for the whole year, to be completely honest. Because it’s just disrespectful. I just felt disrespected.”

The Buccaneers didn’t have any cornerbacks on the roster making anything close to Grimes in terms of salary, so by his logic, was Tampa Bay supposed to leave Brown uncovered all day?

Grimes is (was) their number 1 cornerback, I'm not sure who he expected to be covering.

Well, off to the Bengals or Steelers I guess.

I'm guessing the top paid cornerbacks become top paid cornerbacks by performing, not by making 42 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and NO interceptions (ranked number 114 on NFL.com) and bitching on their wife's podcast. Then again, top cornerbacks probably have their own podcasts.

FYI, Brown caught 6 passes on 9 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. To put the number of targets in context, Brown had seven weeks where he saw ten targets or less.

Just a thought, but couldn't the Raiders play at Qualcom Stadium in SD next season? I bet they would get GREAT attendance. Could the Rams and Chargers block them from going there for a year?

Brent Grimes (and his wife) has historically been an ass-hat. End of story.

QFT. Grimes has been cut by at least one team directly because of his garbage wife.
