Now the Bears might get the 3rd stringer from Philly.

That is odd indeed. It does not work on Firefox, but seems to work on Chrome. So it might be a browser/cookie issue.

Report is that the injury to Foles is bruised ribs and he should be okay for next week. But still Nate better be ready. And the Bears are a MUCH better team than the skins.

Dirk Koetter officially fired. I say TB trade for Gruden from Oakland!
Yes but they are a lot more fun to watch and have the better QB than the Ravens. I would prefer the Steelers.

The 49ers got the ass kicking they needed so people don't think they have a playoff caliber roster like they did in Dec 2017.

Honestly I may take Jackson over Ben at this point in their careers.

I have two ponies in this one. Would like to see Luck have some well-deserved luck, but since Mariotta was a Duck ... but heís not playing anyway ...

As long as they both clean it up!

I kinda hate myself for sitting here watching this game. I think I’ll go do something else.

Every time the camera shows Vrabel he's wearing his "I've got no idea what I'm doing here" face.

Looks like this..

Wow, five penalties in 5/6 plays. Amateur hour indeed. Odds were against the thumbtacks but they are just giving this away. Embarrassing.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 17

So the Colts' playoffs started tonight. They will have to run this table to get to Atlanta:

at Tennessee (Won)
at Houston
at Kansas City
at New England (or Chargers/Ravens winner)

Winning 9 of 10 is impressive, but winning these next three? I have my doubts.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 17

I know at the 3/4 pole, there was a big push for Brees to be MVP, but now that the season is over, it has to be Mahomes, right? Even in this era of insane passing stats, 5000 yards/ 50 TDs is hard to ignore; plus he is also a 1 seed. Looks like he passed Brees in QBR now as well.

Wonder what his MVP odds were at the beginning of the season. Gotta be at least 100:1.

Mahomes deserves it since he was more consistant than Brees

Heard that the 6 highest paid QBs this season failed to make the playoffs.

That's Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Cousins, Garoppolo, Stafford, and Carr. Of course, it basically depends on who signed their contracts last (I mean, Alex Smith is 9th on the list)

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 17

The top half of QB salaries doesn't mean that much. Just a matter of who signed most recently, and which of them (like Flacco) were able to take advantage of signing at the right time. What's far more interesting (at least to me me) is how many teams gong into this off season are going to try for a veteran QB to start next season rather than rely on the draft. We could possibly see no rookie first game starters at QB next season.

Yeah, Luck was the highest paid QB at the start of the 2017 season. Surprised to see six guys have passed him already.
