Oh my God, Eagles cough up the late touchdown and are about to be down 1 point with about two minutes left.

Wow, Watson with a throw to the very back of the end zone, and now the two missed XP loom large.

I started Rivers ahead of Watson, but it was just a consolation game anyway.

Foles is down and not getting up.

Edit: Able to runoff the field but he has left the game, at least for the moment.

Edit 2: Foles back in. Eagles fans breathe a sigh of relief.

Foles out and back in, with Philly in striking distance.

Key catch by Ertz, and a big draw by Sproles, and well within range now. Then again, XP have been a problem from similar range.

Kudos to Philly for putting together the final drive after they had blown the big lead, and to the kicker for coming through.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 16

So Minnesota and New England both win so the Texans should drop to #3 and the Vikes continue to cling to that last playoff spot.

Colts also win. That means that if Pittsburgh loses, they fall a half game back on both Tennessee and Indy for a playoff spot. That tie with the Browns could come back to haunt them in a big way.

Tennessee and Indy play one another next week so that could also be a huge game if Pittsburgh loses.

Does Seattle hold the tiebreaker over the Eagles? If Seattle loses tonight, they will have the same record. They did not play this season.

PI on the Steelers which didn't exist and it cost them a TD.

Looks like there are some extra paychecks being doled out again this week.

They just should all PI on every play.

That's what happen's when the NFL becomes scoring happy.

The losses by the Texans and Chargers are great news for the Chiefs. Takes most of the pressure off this Seattle game. A win at home over the lowly Raiders (on a short week for them) gives the Chiefs Home Field through the AFC regardless of the outcome of tonight's game.

Idiot Mullens for the 49ers had an open field to run for that 1st down on the 4th and four yards. Instead, he decided to chuck it out of bounds.

Man, the Refs are a good team. They may make it to the Super Bowl.

Forgot Pittsburgh could still win their division even after being mathematically eliminated from a wildcard spot.

There are going to be nice array of games next week that are highly meaningful.

I would think Bears/Vikings for next Sunday night's SNF.

Pretty sure SNF is over after tonight. Week 17, all teams play during day, based on their normal game time slots.

I thought so too, but nope. NFL has announced Indy/Tennessee has been flexed to SNF.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 16

As far as I can tell, not a single 1:00 game next Sunday means jack shit. All the meaningful games are packed into the 4:25 slot except for SNF.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 16

I thought they didn't do SNF on last weekend so all teams would play at similar times for fairness/playoff implications. Didn't realize they would flex a game there.

Another one to hold them to a FG.
