Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 15

Not an NFL only topic but as sports fans, we probably have been to a number of different venues, some better than others so this report by ESPN caught my eyes.

http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/sto...18-espn-lines#!

I hate getting food at the Rogers Centre (Skydome) and much prefer eating in a restaurant before going inside. The Scotiabank Centre (formely known as the ACC) has better quality of food but the prices are still outrageous. You need a second mortgage to afford the prices.

I never understood the fascination with food at places where it was common to pee in troughs.

Occasionally, there will be something so remarkably good that it is memorable, but I can count the number of times that has happened at a sporting event on one hand with at least a finger or two leftover.

The smoked meat sandwiches served at the Bell Centre in Montreal come to mind, although, to be fair, you can get them just as good if not better (and probably cheaper) just outside the stadium as well.

Yes, it's obvious that they are clueless on how to use Cooper and that all this winning is despite Garrett.

Tonight is the last Thursday night game of the year and has the potential to be a very good game. Eric Berry is returning and I hope the Cold Weather works in favor of the Chiefs.

Huge game for both teams. For the Chiefs, a bye with the win (and very close to clinching Home Field through the playoffs). For the Chargers, a must-win if they want a shot at the Division.
Melvin Gordon is a "game-time decision". I imagine they'll put him out if there's any chance of him being productive tonight.
Bet it's going to be deafeningly loud.

At least the threat of rain during the game is heading south. It'll be mainly a little windy with temps in the mid-to-low 30s.

One step closer to the end of the season

I hope the Chiefs win too.

Chargers score then immediately give up the big return.

Looks like I'm taking a 0 from Keenan Allen. FUCK! And I'm going against Rivers, of course.

Damnit, Rivers. It was looking like a really interesting game going into halftime.

And the ball goes right through the defender's hands and hits him in the facemask

If not for one of those stupid ass INTs by Rivers, this game would be very close.

I'm starting to wonder if Mahomes is not the best QB in the league right now. The potential for this kid is off the charts.

The Chiefs are on a pretty good drive right now, I'd feel better with a 2 TD lead.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 15

WTF was that LAC? Rivers is pleading for helmet to helmet hit (which he should have got), but they didn't call a timeout for 10 seconds? They lost 10 fucking seconds!

I have the flu and decided to get out of bed to watch the 4th quarter. Glad I did.
