Thursday night is going to be a snoozer. Will they score 10 points between them?

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 14

Most of the games this week have some degree of playoff implications, so that will be good.

Maybe the Redskins will sign Chad Pennington this week.

It feels early posting this thread. I'm worried about this game for the Chiefs as the Ravens have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

I would love to see Philly beat Dallas. Doubtful however. Bears over Rams would be great as well.

Kelvin Benjamin released. What a terrible trade by the Bills.

James Conner is out with an ankle sprain for Week 14. I think I’d bench him as a precaution against the Raiders, too.

Maybe a dumb question, but why bother at this point?

maybe they're hoping someone claims him off waivers, thereby saving them a couple million? maybe he was causing problems in the locker room?

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 14

As was pointed out on one of those "Power Rankings" today, the Bills are doing far better than they should be with the level of talent they have. They had a serious 0-16 look to them at the beginning of the season.

I'm actually gonna be rooting for Sanchez and the Redskins. He never seemed like a bad guy, but was asked to be a franchise quarterback when in reality he was destined to be a journeyman and/or career backup. Nothing wrong with that, you can make a pretty decent living in the NFL that way. Too much pressure in NY, the Jets never should have traded up for him, and one infamous play really derailed his career.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 14

if the Bills had a decent offense they would be in the playoffs since they have the second ranked defense in the NFL. They are better than the 49ers and Raiders.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 14

The Eagles usually beat the Cowboys in Texas but lose to them at the Linc if the pattern holds.

All of these games are horrible with one good team against a bad team or Lions @ AZ with two bad teams.

Ravens @ Chiefs, MIN @ Seattle, Colts @ Texans, and Rams @ Bears are the only good matchups.

Every trash backup QB seems to be getting work except Kaep.

At this point, it doesn't matter.

I'll be surprised if there are 40,000 at FedEx this week.

This is going to cause some fantasy shenanigans in the championship weeks too. Conner's backups are Ridley and Jaylen Samuels. Samuels has TE eligibility in most fantasy leagues, so basically you might be able to slot in a starting RB for the Steelers in your TE spot.

Emmanuel Sanders tore his Achilles in practice. Probably out for the season.

Wow!!

Thanks for the heads up. I just filled my void at TE and no more Jonnu Smith or dart throws.

I hope Yahoo does not correct this and Samuels gets the bulk of the carrries.

I think Ty Montgomery in 2016 was a RB/WR but then they corrected it after a week or two.

They don't usually correct it mid season. I know because the year Marques Colston was a rookie, he was a WR/TE and I got to use him as TE the whole year.

Alex Smith is dealing with an infection from his leg surgery. It's scary to hear that and I hope he can recover.

Didn't Colt McCoy have the same injury?

Hope Alex gets better and he seems like a good mellow classy guy.

He broke his leg, but I don't think its as severe as Alex Smith's Injury.
