Speaking of Denver, since when have teams been allowed to go back to having multiple alternate helmet designs? I saw that hideous version they wore during their last game and wondered what changed.

I'm glad the bye week is over for the Chiefs. The Chiefs and Raiders game will probably be a blowout, but I'll be watching.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 13

Got a bad feeling about this game tonight....shades of 2009 (ex showed it in the previous thread, but I was thinking about it before it). I thought that was a TNF game too and in the same week as this one (after Thanksgiving), but it was a Saturday night game in NO in Week 15.

Same here but they should have kept these unis and helmets and never changed.

No Viking @ Patriots in the Bay Area since we get that epic 49ers vs Seahawks game.

My target is 10

As in, as soon as the Saints take a 10 point lead, I bail and watch a movie.

Field goals won't cut it in this game, need TD's.

To the Saints fan (on a blog) who argued with me that "Eli Apple is a reliable cover corner":

HAHAHAHAHA!

I love seeing a good upset sometimes, but I don’t want to see the Cowboys beat the Saints. If they do all Sports talking heads will go nuts and say they are a threat if they make the playoffs.

^That should have been an ejection.

I’m actually going to regret playing the Packers’ defense over the Cowboys’ defense on my fantasy team. Damn.

Ton of missed calls on both sides. Glad the Boys pulled it out.

All together now!

Defense is legit, 4 wins since Cooper got here, 2nd youngest team in the league.

The arrow is pointing up!

I will throw up if the sleeper team with the good defense that can win the NFC is the Cowboys.

Losing one O lineman Terron Armstead threw the whole Saints offense out of wack.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 13

Pressure, pressure, pressure is the key in the NFL to stopping these great QB's. Pressure totally throws off their timing and just makes them doubt themselves enough that they are going to get hit in the pocket. That last interception by Brees was a perfect example, as that is something a rookie QB does. The Cowboys are just started to gel at the right time as they are the type of team you wouldn't want to play in the playoffs.

Look up Brees' stats against the blitz. Best in the league. But it definitely made a difference last night

No doubt he is great at picking up blitzes, I'm talking more when the front four is getting at him every play. That is usually when these guys get disrupted in their timing because they are smart enough to know when the blitz is coming. I remember that was the reason the Giants took out the undefeated Patriots in that 2008 Superbowl is guys like Strahan were getting at him every play.

Yep.

Color me shocked that the officials missed an obvious helmet to helmet hit by the Cowboys in consecutive weeks.

Walt Anderson cannot retire soon enough.
