It makes you wonder how much longer can the Sooners keep winning these shootout type games? Their defense has got to show up sometime you would think.

Michigan vs Ohio State is a pretty big one though. And last night there were two huge ones with Conference title implications.
Did anyone else watch the Apple Cup yesterday? That was a total blizzard. Bizzare.

Alas, yesterday was a workday for me and last night was our delayed Thanksgiving so no football for me, but at least I got to watch all three of the NFL games on Thursday almost without interruption. Looks like that OU/WV game yesterday was something else.

Another dud from Michigan vs. OSU.
I said it last week - very realistic path for OSU to slip into the CFP. WSU lost. OU almost lost and still could lose. UGA will be big dogs next week. They'll obviously jump UCF after this week.

So if OU and tOSU both win next week and ND wins tonight, do you think tOSU would get the fourth Playoff spot of OU? I don't.

Regardless, OSU has a much better chance of winning next week than OU does. I have little faith in OU. They should have been up 21 last night and just kept keeping WVU alive.
The wild card is UGA. If they lose a close game to Bama, god knows what the committee will do. The committee has total love for the SEC - it shows with the way they move SEC teams after wins/losses. But they have never put a 2-loss team ahead of a 1-loss team (they've ranked a 1-loss team higher than a 0-loss team before, but both were in the CFP).
The committee is all eye test with huge recency bias and will pick the best 4 based on that and then reverse engineer the criteria to justify their selections. They also love the name programs. So good luck predicting that.

Huge TD by the Irish before halftime. No thanks to that Kelly decision. D stepped up when they needed it.

All the ACC coaches will help Dabo. And don't assume ND finishes 3rd. They can always throw them 4th.
But it doesn't matter. We're destined for Bama/Clem again.
