Fitting, the Chiefs-Rams both played enough football Monday night to last several weeks. Vikings playing 2nd Sunday night game (read: opportunity to choke in primetime) in a row.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

How is anyone going to top the game from Monday night this weekend? I don't think anyone can. I was looking forward to the Cowboys and Redskins game to see how Alex Smith is playing, but I feel bad for him with his injury.

ATL/NO should be fun, provided ATL's offense shows up. But yeah, after MNF, NFL games are pretty much ruined. I was at a strip club in Reno for that game, and literally, the strippers weren't even working because the game was so fucking crazy. I've never seen a strip club where literally nobody is working.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

Thanksgiving weekend (I am guessing) is probably one of the NFL's best week's for tv ratings and their top two teams have the week off.

The NFL has one fucked up (and unfair ) schedule compared to the other pro sports leagues.

I've watched a few low scoring games this season and wonder how am I going to watch these games when the Chiefs score so much now?

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

The NFL schedule really can't be compared to the other sports leagues simply because there are so few games.

I'll be watching he games tomorrow as I can. But quite frankly none of them excite me. One would think they would have found a way out of the Detroit/Dallas scenario years ago given how long it's been since either team was worth watching.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

I don't care for games that are played in Domed Stadiums(even though I am a Vikings fan) and I much prefer games that are played in all kinds of weather so tomorrow's slate of games offer's me not much of anything .

With literally half the NFC playing on Thanksgiving or on Sunday night, this has to be the most AFC-heavy NFL Sunday Ticket/ Red Zone day in league history.

With the Bears' elevation of the 3rd string QB from the practice squad to active roster, they are pretty much gonna be rolling with Daniel (no S) tomorrow.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

I don't think Daniel is any of a dropoff from Trubisky.

Detroit has big problems on offense.

The NFL screwed the Bears giving them the SNF game and then Thursday - early game no less.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

It is a weak schedule.

Maybe Steelers @ Broncos could be the Thanksgiving night game since that might be the closest thing to a OK or somewhat decent game maybe.

Atlanta vs. New Orleans and Green Bay vs. Minnesota are the only games this week that sound like they could be good.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

I just want to see Rashaad Penny get 12+ carries. Ideally, to get into the kind of groove he got into in college, he'd get 20 carries per game, but with that backfield line-up that's not likely to happen any time soon.

And I want to see the LOS ANGELES Chargers lose. Given their competition that isn't likely, but losing to the Cardinals this year would be hilarious!

Don't know who this band is, but did the lead singer inhale some helium before performing?

BTW, they're horrible.

You think? I am expecting the Falcons to get fairly soundly trounced, especially playing in NO.

I won't get to see it, but among Sunday day games, I would most like to see Seattle @ Panthers. My 1:00 choices are Oakland @ Baltimore and the Giants @ Philly, both snoozefests.

The guitarist with his ripped-knee black tights, his douchebag haircut and his Destroyer guitar, upfront showboating while playing pretty much inaudible chords was...something to behold.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

Fuck Washington vs Dallas. I will have it on only for background noise.

Just found on YouTube-1977 Lions @ Vikings. If memory serves me correct(it hasn't lately) that was the game when Sammy White was running in a TD pass and someone on the Lions knocked it out his arms for a touchback.
