Chiefs are +16.5 favorites over the Cardinals. Biggest number of the year.

No, Buffalo at Minnesota had that distinction @ -17.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 10

Should be a great game tonight. I think the Panthers are the better team, and hope for a win, but they've never won in Pittsburgh, and I'm worried about AB shredding the secondary.

A trap game for the Saints?

The road game at Cincy is a sandwich game between the Rams and Eagles game in week 11 and Bengals had two weeks to prepare though A.J. Green is out.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 10

Will Belicheck be nice to Vrabel one of his ex players now coaching for the Titans?

Quote:
Someone found the snarkiest way possible to blast Buffalo Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman: by starting a GoFundMe with the title “Nathan Peterman Please Retire.” The photo on the page touts Peterman as “defensive player of the week.”

Peterman has been ripped often for his play. The Bears scored two defensive touchdowns, including a Peterman pick-six, before the Bills even got on the board last week (hence the “defensive player of the year” wisecrack). Peterman, who famously threw five picks in the first half of his first start last year against the Chargers, has an impossibly low 32.5 career passer rating. George Chahrouri of Pro Football Focus noted that spiking the ball into the ground every play gives you a rating of 39.6.

It’s that bad. And now people are jokingly (kind of) raising funds for him to retire.

The goal of the GoFundMe was $1 million. And, 31 people over the first two days had actually contributed $182. Only $999,818 to go!

Among the best contributors (we’ll go ahead and assume the actual people weren’t giving $5 at a time for Peterman to retire): Flutie Flakes, Vontae Davis (the Bills cornerback who retired at halftime in Week 1), Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula, Bills coach Sean McDermott, and fellow Bills quarterbacks Derek Anderson and Josh Allen.

Wow. Steelers only need to touch the ball once (offence or defense) to get TDs.

I'm starting Conner and Brown and got excited to see 21 points already on the board, but combined they have only one of them.

It wouldn't be a Thursday night in November without an unwatchable blow-out NFL game on TV.

Steelers are playing A+ football, and our defense is hot garbage.

Almost exactly a full quarter to go - hope they can hang on to the lead.

Really wasn't expecting it to be an easy game... nevermind it being this easy.

Time to start resting the big guns.

That Peterman stuff ...

Spiking the ball every time would yield a higher QB rating!

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 10

Peterman is good for fantasy.

Panthers play the Lions, Bucs, and Browns in 3 of the next 4 games but now I wonder if they are in the same league as the Rams and Saints.

What an embarrassing beatdown on National TV. I think they are still a playoff team, but the visit will be brief if they can't get this defense back on track. I came in to the season thinking we were SB contenders, but there's no way I want to see this team have to go on the road to LA or NO in the post season.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 10

So last week in my Pick 'Em, I selected Oakland and got slapped with -28 points. This week I went with Carolina, and got ... -28 points... I think I'm avoiding Thurs games from here on out!

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 10

That was one great start for the Panthers. As for the rest, ooof. Well, except for McCaffrey.

Great to have Big Ben in fantasy for one league.

Bad having Conner, Funchess, and Olsen in my other league.

I thought it was funny that Newton tried so hard to avoid giving up the 2 point safety that he winds up giving up 7 points with a pick-6 and XP instead.
