Houston falls at Temple. Barely. Offensive foul on HOU to deny their bucket at the buzzer. Good call.

Down to Mich and UVA for undefeateds.

What a beat down Louisville is putting on Carolina at the Dean Done. Wow.

Love. it.

Maryland huge win last night. Have improved their tourney position more than any team the last few weeks after losing to Seton Hall in December.

And Bucknell, barely hung today. 3-1 in the Patriot League after losing 3 All-League players. Still bringing it.

Not today, they didn't! Loved the shocked look of the crowd.
Of course, Jay Bilis noted, about 18 times, that Duke was completely without Reddish and also without Jones for most of the game.

KU escapes at the Phog against Texas. The Longhorns were on fire from behind the arc late, but missed a potential game-winner at the buzzer. Should have driven to the hoop for a tie but everyone wants to hit the game-winning shot I suppose.
I love that Shaka is still winless at Texas against the Jayhawks when his VCU Elite Eight win over them is, by far, his biggest claim to fame.

Last night was a good night. Bucknell & Maryland win (Terps almost collapsed) and Dookies lose.

Great win for the Terps last night. Didn't get to see it, but looking forward to the Monday game at Sparty. Will definitely watch that.

Big win for Bucknell at Lehigh. Sole possession of 1st in the Patriot now. Blew a 5 point lead late, but got a lay-up with 1 sec left to win.

Michigan goes down. UVA the last undefeated.

#9 Kansas holds on and beats #24 ISU to stay in First place in the Big XII. Amazingly Self has never lost a home game on Big Monday - now 28-0. It was close though with ISU dominating for the first 25-30 minutes of the game. Dedrick Lawson was a beast going for 29 & 15 boards.
Now they head to Lexington to take on #8 Kentucky in the Big 12-SEC Challenge on Saturday. Tough week.

That was ugly, but not unexpected.

Now this was true ugliness. Losing to Illinois in an absurd "home" game at MSG.

Texas Tech looked good tonight hosting their first Big Monday game since 2006 How is that even possible?

Re: 2018-2019 NCAA Basketball Regular Season Thread

Kansas big man (and center of the Adidas FBI case) Silvio De Sousa is ineligible both this season and next because the Adidas consultant paid $2,500 to De Sousa's guardian, Fenny Falmagne (without his knowledge). He has really been railroaded by the NCAA for the actions of adults around him. This is really bullshit.

It's also another bit of bad news for a Kansas team that's seeing their season slip away. They're 1-5 in true road games. They've lost 3 of 4. They're totally lost without their big Junior center Udoka Azubuike. If they drop their very tough game against Texas Tech tomorrow (which I can totally see), their chances of winning the Big XII are just about zero. What a mess for a team that started the season at #1 in the rankings.

VT wins at NC St. 47-24. That is not a first half score. Final.

Lowest point total by a power conference team in the shot clock era.

At HOME.

Had it on one of my TVs - there was nobody in the stands with 5 minutes left.

Re: 2018-2019 NCAA Basketball Regular Season Thread

Just saw they made only one shot (a layup) and scored 5 points total over the final 18:35 of the game. Over that stretch they shot 1 for 21 (4.7%) and missed numerous layup attempts. One player shot 0-12 for the game.

UK coming on strong.

I think the ACC 'runner up' will go West. Can't see the Zags as a 1.

Don't see the B1G teams getting a 1....will cannibalize.

Huge win for Bucknell last night, getting the sweep over Lehigh. Were down 10 in the first half but ended up winning pretty easily. Kimbal MacKenzie is on quite a roll. 2 game lead over Lehigh, with the tiebreaker, with 5 left to play.

Nice recovery by UVA last night at UNC.
