Wow, that's a surprise. I wonder if KU will finally get that #1 ranking back as we are currently #2 and we've already beaten TEN on a neutral court. Haven't looked good though.

I'm half-tempted to make the drive down to Phoenix in a couple of weeks for the KU-ASU game.

It was part of a shootout put together by Jerry Colangelo to showcase Grand Canyon U.

Who cares. But if one does care, given what Michigan has done so far, they should be #1.

NET has them #1 and moved Kansas up to #8. And you are right that at this point Polls are meaningless.

Congrats to Penn for breaking Nova's 25 game win streak in the Big 5.

One of these days I have to see a game at The Palestra. Bucket list.

Damn...Bucknell had a last chance and played OSU well. Not quite enough. Ugly last possession

Always good to see Boeheim lose in the safe comfort of NY.

I'm no Roy fan, but this Zags/UNC game is a 1-for-1 return deal. Next year in Spokane.

Coach K would never do it.

Really looking forward to Texas Tech vs Duke @ MSG on Thursday. That should be a very entertaining game. Tech looks to be really, really good this year and this will be a HUGE test for them.

Nice to see Buffalo knock off Never-Leave-NY-til-January Syracuse for the first time since 1963. If they can win at Marquette on Friday, they'll be in fantastic shape heading into conference play.

Bad beat of the year candidate....I submit bettors who had Duquense +5 or +5.5 and/or Under 139. Tied at 67-67 with 5 seconds left. Final score: PSU 73 DUQ 67. How....a foul on DUQ and double-technical on the DUQ coach. PSU hit all 6 free throws.

Memo to Maryland - don't schedule a game (even if FS1 wants it) on a Saturday when the Skins and Ravens are playing the same night, and don't schedule a good team when the students are on break.

No shame in losing a true road game vs a good opponent.

Missed the second half of this one going to dinner with out-of-town friends. Not at all surprised -- they've been skating by the seat of their pants almost every game. They played well in the first half, but I guess they struggled down the stretch. They're a good team -- best in the Big XII but not even in the same league as Duke or maybe even the Zags. Final Four is in play, but I don't see this team as a National Championship contender.

They're a lot better team when Doke can play for them, though.

Way a way to follow up beating the #1 team.

Wow, just read that Steve Alford will be fired by UCLA.

I guess losing to Liberty the other day sealed his fate. And they played horribly too.

Alford was officially fired today. His contract was bought out by the school, so he got paid.

Being 7-6 after non-conference season is embarrassing, especially with the talent they have.

Re: 2018-2019 NCAA Basketball Regular Season Thread

Amazing comeback by Bucknell last night at Army. They were down 39-13 and came back to win 64-63 on a lay-in with 1 second left. They made 2 FGs in the first half. Unreal to win that game after how things started.

Nice little comeback gritty win for the Terps last night too.

Re: 2018-2019 NCAA Basketball Regular Season Thread

Kansas' big man Udoka Azubuike tore the ligament on his right wrist and will be out for the entire season. Huge blow for my team and they looked pretty lost without him while getting their asses whooped by the Cyclones in Ames.

Very nice road for the Terps at Minny. Great 2nd half and great play from the Freshmen.
