I don’t care for any of the final 4 teams that were remaining, but ...

It would have been interesting to see the AL (formerly NL) Houston Astros against the NL (formerly AL) Milwaukee Brewers just because of the league-swapping.

Rooting more against the RedSox, then rooting for the Dodgers. The 4 Boston Teams have had enough championships since the Tom Brady era started it all in 2001.

My only rooting interest is Kershaw getting a ring. He would do a lot for his legacy if he could push the Dodgers to a championship and win the World Series MVP.

Will the Red Sox add RP Steve Wright to the roster so they can use him as a PR at Dodger Stadium?

Rooting HARD for my Dodgers but pretty sure they're far outmatched by the Red Sox. Hope I'm wrong but hard for me to imagine that the Dodgers can make this a competitive series. I think they were considerably better last year, especially their relief pitching. Hope Machado shows up, big time, for this Series. And that Puig stays hot.

Think 1988, and how the A's were the clear cut favorite in that World Series. The one thing where Baseball differs then Basketball is that the best team always doesn't win.

No surprise on the DP reversal. I wasn't even expecting them to try, and the throw to first almost seemed like an afterthought.

Re: 2018 MLB Playoffs, World Series Edition

Not to side track this thread but one of the stupidest thing I have seen lately was when all of the Red Sox were wearing New Era goggles when celebrating their win against the Astros. It's ridiculous that we now have New Era goggles. I hope the Dodgers beat the Red Sox but I am not holding my breath.

Oof, after last year's loss I can't bare to watch so I just get the phone updates. I'd say they left Kershaw in too long, but I don't think it would have mattered anyway. Hope the Dodgers can bounce back in game 2.

The Red Sox could score 8 runs a game and still complain about the Yankees.

Really? I might be able to do that during a regular season game but I'd have to be turned into watch it in the postseason.

Wow that sucks. All your momentum gone after the bullpen gives up the lead. And it was an ex Angel, too. Seems oddly familiar.

I'm the opposite, regular season games are fine (except this year down the stretch) and the post season has been rough since i'm afraid of the heartbreaking losses.

I'm annoyed the Dodgers have been going with Ryu on the road; he's been SO much better at home but Roberts keeps letting him go. I'd have rather started Hill in this game so that they could go Ryu/Buehler/Kershaw at home.

Re: 2018 MLB Playoffs, World Series Edition

Is Alex Wood not any good anymore? He had quite the year last season but is now out of the rotation? Or was he just passed up by Buehler?

Interesting note that after all the Sale-Kershaw hype, game 1 was only the fourth WS game in which neither starter lasted more than 12 outs.
