Re: Ryder Cup 2018, September 28-30
Day 1 - Fourball schedule:
Match 1 (2:10 a.m.): Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka vs. Justin Rose and Jon Rahm
Match 2 (2:25 a.m.): Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson vs. Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen
Match 3 (2:40 a.m.): Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas vs. Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton
Match 4 (2:55 a.m.): Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed vs. Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood.
Interesting that Furyk went with Spieth, given his play this year. But it's 4-ball.

A bunch of ass-kicking going on by Europe on the front nine in the afternoon. These are going to be some short matches. Mickelson/DeChambeau might not make it past hole 11 or 12.

Damn!
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/ryder...sue-organizers
The woman hit in the face by a Brooks Koepka shot at the Ryder Cup says she has been left permanently blind in her right eye.
Corine Remande, 49, says her "eyeball exploded" after being caught by the American’s drive on the sixth hole on the tournament’s opening day on Friday.
Medics rushed to her aid in front of concerned onlookers before she was taken to hospital.
She was later transferred to the Croix-Rousse facility in Lyon.
Now the female golf fan is planning to sue organizers after doctors told her she will never be able to use her eye right again.
Remande told AFP: "It happened so fast, I didn't feel any pain when I was hit. I didn't feel like the ball had struck my eye and then I felt the blood start to pour.
"The scan on Friday confirmed a fracture of the right eye socket and an explosion of the eyeball."

Re: Ryder Cup 2018, September 28-30
I always cringe a little when I am watching golf on TV and a player is hitting a shot from off the fairway and there is a thin corridor with people lining each side. If there is ever a bad stroke and the ball comes off of the club the wrong way, somebody may take a hard and fast hit and the potential for a bad injury is pretty high.
