Just watched the video. Unreal. And he shot +1 outside of that hole.

5 birds in a row for Spieth.

Soon as I post something good, he shanks his tee shot on 18

Great recovery though to only take the bogey.

Not a bad bogey 5 all things considered.

Great stretch of 5 holes.

That's amazing he's led after 9 rounds of the 17 he's played at Augusta.

Re: The Masters 2018, April 5-8

Looks like a rough day so far for Spieth. +4 in the first 8 holes.

Maybe today will be like yesterday where the afternoon golfers had it easier.

Re: The Masters 2018, April 5-8

Awesome 2nd shot by Leishman on 15. Decent shot at eagle to get to -7 and tie Reed.

edit: would put him 1 back of Reed who just made a very nice birdie on 13 to go -8.

The leaders are teeing off now and Rory could not have started his round in a worse way. It will be pretty tough for him to not give away a stroke or two right off the bat.

Solid start for the leaders. Who's got the worst tree situation?

And Rory gets away with it thanks to a miracle path through the trees. He actually gained a stroke.

It will be sad to watch if Reed loses it from playing badly.

Rory recovered well and then some judging by that 2nd on 2. He better keep it up. Spieth looks good too.

Huge birdie for Reed. Should not flirt with the water on 15 with Spieth missing on 17.

Ugh, Spieth clipped a branch on his 18th hole drive. That may seal the deal right there.

Hope Fowler makes a birdie on 18 to force Reed to par out. I'm doubtful.

Rory really sucked today. Missed so many putts early.
