So the Vikes haven't scored since the games opening possession at 4:40 into the game.

At least you're not getting the same 4 or 5 commercials played over and over through the course of a game. That's enough to drive anyone mad.

So do they give Keenum money or not? This was the worst possible result for him, he wasn't even competitive after that first drive.

Heck, is some other team going to pay Foles?

Belichek is going to sniff this out and extinguish him unless they do a lot of work these next two weeks. I mean that's basically Chip Kelly's offense right?

Blake Bortles had a career day against Belichek today in Foxborough. The Pats are on their last legs and I think the Eagles will take them down.

Brady and Pats are just amazing. Their comebacks are now legendary. As much as I hate them, they win time and time again. I remember a NY baseball team that used to do that. Canít remember the name...

You forgot the Saints bounty-gate game in the 2009 season (Saints 31-28).

Outscored 59-19 over the last six quarters of the season though.

Six consecutive NFC Championship game losses going back to 1977.

That Pats-Jags game was the real Super Bowl. I'm sorry, but Nick Foles is not winning a Super Bowl unless he has the 2000 Ravens' D and then he would still need luck.

Patriots haters should be rooting for the Pats to win. It will finally shut up the Steelers fans with their boast of the only team with 6 ancient SB wins.

This may be the end of the line for my Patriots. Losing 2 assistant coaches, and perhaps Brian Flores... will most likely lose Malcolm Butler
No they will be the favorites to win Super Bowl 53.

Jets beat them at Foxboro in the 2010 divisional playoff.

I remember Shonn Greene getting a first down on 4th down to seal that win.

Thanks! I never thought we had a shot in 2005 against the Pats because Brady was in his prime and they had a that great defense with Teddy Bruschi. If I was a betting man, I would still pick the Patriots just because Brady is one of the greatest, but I think we got a real chance because we have the better defense. If we can get pressure on Brady from our front four then I think that can tip the game in our favor, as we have won all year not needing to blitz. If we don't get pressure on him and he is allowed to sit back in the pocket, then our secondary will get exposed. Our secondary makes big plays but are vulnerable too when the front four can't get to the QB.

enough about how crappy the AFC East is.

FFS, the Steelers get to play the Browns, Bengals and Joe Flacco twice a year and nobody thinks THAT's a cake walk?

I despise both teams, but come on. The Bengals and Ravens are two of the better teams over the last decade or so; the Steelers opponents have about a 30 win advantage over the AFC East weak sauce.

Yup, this right here. 0-6 in my lifetime so I went into last night's game not entirely the optimist. I do wish the Vikings at least showed up to play though. They made it a fun - and improbable season - if only to end in an all-too-familiar fashion.

Re: 2017 NFL Playoffs Conference Championships 01/21/2018

That itís frustrating being a Vikings fan may be the sports understatement of the century. There are 13 teams without a Super Bowl win. In those 52 years, the Vikings have ended the season with a playoff loss 29 times, and have an additional three years with a virtual playoff game loss on the last game of the regular season. No other non-title team comes close to this futility.

But, for my sanity, I try to cling to the following:

31 of 32 teams are losers at the end of every season.

13 teams have never won a Super Bowl.

At least we (technically) have one NFL Championship in my lifetime (1969).

Iíd rather be a good team that gets close half the time, than a team that rarely makes the playoffs.

Since 1965, we have the second best winning percentage in the entire NFL.

Small consolations perhaps, but those and the Minneapolis Miracle will get me through this. But let me get back to my weeping....

Hey, they showed up to play, they just completely forgot how to play after that opening drive...

There we go... I guess the AFC East isn't as easy as some say.

Plus it's not like other teams in that division didn't make the playoffs as well during the Patriots reign... Jets made it 6 times, the Dolphins 3 times and the Bills finally did it this year. Not great, but the division had at least some competition during the Patriots run.

It's simple... if the Patriots aren't good - then beat them.
I'm saying that as Steelers fan who's lost to them in the playoffs.
