The Seahawks still have enough talent to compete for the division, but they’re definitely on the downswing. Their defense is old and injured, and they haven’t been able to bring in new impact talent due to mediocre drafting or trading away resources for making a run now. They do have enough good young players to keep the defense respectable, but the defense can’t dominate and cover up other flaws like it used to.

And I never count out the Hawks, who still have the best QB in the division until proven wrong.

There's so much turnover year to year to boot with few exceptions.

I'll be interested to see the Rams future O/U on wins. Might be a good under if 9.5 or more.
The Niners beat the Giants, Bears, Titans, Rams (with nobody playing), Texans and Jags. I only consider two of those "quality" wins: Titans and Jags. Beat good teams, like ones in their own division, then we'll talk.

As for the Hawks, if all the rumors are true about massive shakeups, they are going to regress significantly. They are already lost 2 defensive players who are unlikely to come back. Things are only getting worse for them, not better. While I think they can be competitive, I think they are basically where they are now. A .500 team.

Rams are set up to be competitive for next 3-5 years. I have no doubts they will win division again next year.

I find it funny that you are so sure. So I assume you'll take a ride to Vegas in August and bet over 9.5 wins (that's what I think it will be) hard on LAR if you are that sure.

Outside of NE and maybe PIT, I am so hesitant to declare something a sure division winner in this league. Sheesh, GB has a HOF QB and can't rely on that.

If you want to take LAR and give me the field in the NFCW, I'll take the field.

I'll be in Reno the last weekend of July. If they are listed, I'll bet it.

Has Jim Nantz ever announced a Jags game?

Maybe when they played NE in the playoffs in '07.

The Jags have no faith in Bortles. Everything underneath. At least Buffalo tries with Tyrod.

Where's this great JAX defense I've been hearing so much about?

Who's the backup to Bortles? Just throw him in already.

The dreaded fade. Wasting 2nd and 2. Just pound it. Use Shady.

This game is comical....Bills try a fade, try the FG, get the offsides, now backed up 10 after the penalty.

Well, the score is 0-0.

The oddsmakers were right fucking on with this O/U.

Benjamin pushed off on the last couple of pass attempts to him. Not only is he taller than the defenders but he also likes to shove off.

I expect the Jags to make a great offer for Captain Kirk. They should. They can win it all with him, Fournette, Robinson coming back, and the D.

Turns out they aren't streaming the games on the NFL Mobile app yet. That article says it may not happen until the Conference Championship week. Still, I was able to stream games on my cable carrier's Contour app for the first time since the streaming rights changed in 2018.

A TD....on a gamble. With this game, would have kicked. but hit on the gamble. Appreciate that.

I have no idea what the Jags are doing now. Just pound it 3 times running every drive and run 2 minutes off even w/o a 1st. Trust your D.

I was thinking the exact same thing. If Goodell has his way, we would be seeing two more teams - neither of whom were "good enough" to make the field of 12 - added to this weekend's play.

Bleh!
