Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

Don't hate me but lynch is too over for survivor series.

Maybe she bardges into raw, get walloped, blades, gets booted from a main event because while SS is a major...it ain't Wrestlemania, and it all happens because mgmt realizes that they can't blow their load with the female stone cold when they have a bonnafied main event in the making.

It's all a work (just look at Twitter) and Becky looks better than ever while Ronda is given more time to develop in the ring by the best, Flaire.

They have to learn from the attitude era though, and cannot just build for three months straight. They has to be legit matches with faux endings to build. Time will tell.

As much as I would LOVE to see Becky/Ronda headline Mania, at the same time I would feel bad for Charlotte for not getting that spot, I feel like she's earned it.

She may have earned it with her body of work. She's a crazy athlete and consistently puts on great matches.

That said, she's never been remotely as hot as Becky is right now. The difficulty will be keeping Becky and Ronda as white hot for another 4+ months as it was going in to Survivor Series. That said, Becky will damn sure be doing her part. I just hope the WWE writing staff/bookers will do their part. I'm more worried about them messing things up than either Becky or Ronda.

That's my thoughts as well. For me Charlotte just haven't evolved. Becky took a heel turn and elevated it to unexpected heights. Charlotte is just the same as she has been for 5 years now.

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

I agree, promo'ing Mania with a female lead Main Event with Lynch who is on fire and Ronda would be awesome.

I'd say the best course of booking be:
-Kayfabe strip the title off Lynch due to the injury
-Keep her bad assing her away around / perhaps going after Paige/Shane for taking title off her and saying she has been cleared to compete but they won't let her in the ring, etc.
-Women's Rumble...have Nia Jax as the Kane role dominating until, at one point, she's the last in the ring
-Out comes Lynch for huge pop to clean Jax's clock for the injury
-Win Rumble
-Do the same thing with champs coming in ring from both brands and ask Lynch who she wants to face
-"You know damn well who's getting their lass kicked at Mania" and she spears Ronda and wails on her until it's pulled apart
-Lynch looks at Mania sign / Ronda looks at Mania sign
-Shut up and take my money

Why is that any shock? Her old man ran the same tired schtick for decades.

Maybe Iím being unfair to Charlotte, but I couldnít stand Rick for just that reason.

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

WWE runs the same schtick every Monday Night Raw.

I can't tell the difference between a show from last week or last year or last decade.

Same old format.

One of the reason's I stopped and many other's have stopped watching today's WWE.

I will give it another try tonight but I watched it(on WWE Network) from Saudi Arabia and it was same old song and dance.

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

So the Enzo chants during the AOD vs the Bar match happened because Enzo himself was at ringside, got up on a chair and started chanting his catchphrases before security kicked him out of the building. In the process, apparently he knocked down a woman, so a stretched had to be brought in.

The crowd reaction surprised me. They should of respected Roussey because of the brutal ass kicking she got.

Jaheeezus!

You gotta`feel that with that Flair beat down on Ronda and Ronda`s `hero` walk to the back that the E figured she would get a big applause pop. Instead she was booed out of the building and huge BECKY chants!

I cannot imagine the pop if Lynch had her music hit.

Seems Ronda has worn out her welcome with the crowd

Pretty sure that is what was expected but crowd is so hot for Lynch that it carried onto Flair. She pulled out all the heel tricks and the crowd still booed the face Ronda.

Reminded me a bit of Austin vs Bret double turn only this was not expected.

Does Heyman always hold the belt during the match or does he need it to clock Lesner with it or hand it to Bryan. :P

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

WWE's got a golden opportunity to push towards the future with Lynch.

They are still riding the wave of stone cold and the rock. If they have the organic (which was stone cold and the rock) female versions of those wrestlers, they need to be cautious about the push.

Lynch can be an all timer if they manage it right. Maybe Vince will get out of the way...maybe mgmt has something bigger in their heads.

About SS

Stupid of Enzo to pull a stunt. I read an interview with cass about him learning lessons and paying his dues in order to work back up to the wwe. I don't think it'll happen. Despite the higher ups unabashedly supporting Pres. Trump, it seemed as though backstage reservations were about bein too boastful and hyper political. Add to that, based on Enzo's posts and presented fact that he seems to have bought into the ideals of showmanship and rapperisms, showing up in costume and causing a scene seems to have hurt his cause. Showing up in the first place shows he is struggling. Bad move. Wonder what that guys life will be like I twenty years. What a grid...

So Raw really swept the night? Are they still trying to say they view the show equally?

Which I find amusing with the whole Fox deal that will start next year for the Smackdown brand.
