Over 100 episodes of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling from 1981-83 added to WWE Network this morning.

I miss Saturday Night Wrestling on TBS. It was awesome as we had squash matches but also good ones with angles and the TV title was defended each week.

About this year's Rumble, is WWE going to bring wrestlers from the Mae Young Classic and NXT to fill in for the 30 women Royal Rumble? What about surprises?

So far, the names I see in the Women's Rumble are:

1- Nia Jax
2- Bailey
3- Paige
4- Asuka
5- Alicia Fox
6- Dana Brooke
7- Mandy Rose
8- Mickie James
9- Sonya Deville
10- Becky Lynch
11- Carmella
12- Lana
13- Natalya
14- Liv Morgan
15- Naomi
16- Ruby Riott
17- Tamina
18- Sarah Logan

There are 11 female NXT wrestlers, then there's Nikki Bella, Brie Bella (retired?), Stephanie McMahon (who wouldn't surprise me if she won just give a big FU to the fans), Emma (recently released) Summer Rae (same as Emma), Kaitlyn (former Diva champion making a comeback) and free agents Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Madison Rayne, Velvel Sky and Reba Sky (Matt Hardy's wife). A major surprise could be Ronda Rousey and Michelle McCool, who recently teased a return to the ring. Anyone I'm missing?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Beth, Trish, or Lita.

I just started an 11 hour Up-all-Night Marathon. First match was R Steamboat and Jake Roberts vs a jobber along with Jim Miller(soon too be Boris Zhukov).

Would love too see them concentrate on the AWA and finish Mid-South as soon as they are done presenting Mid-Atlantic.

I guess Jim Cornette has an 36 disc(72 hours) Mid Atlantic House Shows(filmed ,mostly incomplete matches) for 100 dollars at his website.

This. Their FB page has been showing a lot of Lita and Trish lately.

I will pop like hell if I hear Lita's theme.

Lita is retired due to her neck injuries so I highly doubt WWE doctors would clear her. Beth and Trish could be a possibility but I don't know if they want to come in and do the job.

I'm extremely glad that Vince saw the light and put the Bullet Club together.

Figure some MYC and NXT women will be taking up some spots along with the possibility of past womens champs making cameo's. And Bull Nakano still wrestles once every blue moon, wouldn't be surprised if she had a cameo.

Here she is in 2015 looking a lot younger then her actual age.

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

I'm surprised Bret Hart and Mick Foley have not been announced for the 25th Anniversary Raw. I think Sable, Jeff Jarrett, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Rikishi, Too Cool, The Rock, Sid Vicious, Jim Cornette, Doink, Vader, X-Pac, Trish, Lita, Ted Dibiase and Sting should be at the show.

By the way, Bull Nakano looks amazing for a 50 year old.

Actually that's not completely true. The Network has many documentaries that come with the DVD releases on the Beyond the Ring section, including Macho Man, Jake Roberts, Rickey Steamboat and Mick Foley's documentaries. They used to have CM Punk's one but I think they took it outc

I watched CM Punk's a few weeks ago. It's in the Beyond the Ring section but if you search for "CM Punk" I don't think it comes up in the results. You just have to look through the years.

pwinsider.com,

WWE has booked Eric Bischoff to appear at the upcoming 25th anniversary show for Raw which takes place on January 22. Bischoff, a former WCW executive and WWE GM, has not been seen on a WWE show in approximately ten years.

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

Lots of news about the Royal Rumble, WWE Hall of Fame and Wrestlemania. Spoilers below:

Royal Rumble
Spoiler:

Apparently Paige won't be part of the women RR match because of the injury she suffered a couple of weeks ago. Also, it is heavily rumored that Michelle McCool and Molly Holly will be part if the RR.

WWE Hall of Fame
Spoiler:

The first inductees for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class are Goldberg and the Dudley Boyz

Wrestlemania Main Event
Spoiler:

The 2 big matches for Wrestlemania will be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar and John Cena vs the Undertaker. Whoopedoo. 3 part timers taking the big spots at the biggest show of the year. I imagine AJ Styles will defend the title for the Smackdown side but still don't know against who.

Re: The 2018 Pro Wrestling Thread.

Spoiler:
Are we really all dying to see UT lose another WM match? As much as I hated his send off with Reigns last year it was a send off. That's it, we shouldn't see the character anymore.

Spoiler:
It seems so. He we'll be appearing on the 25th Anniversary Raw in 2 weeks. I don't think he will lose to Cena though. I think Vince will want to let him go off to the sunset with a win.

I look forward to a series of promos where he simply comes out and points at the WM banner and says nothing.

And I look forward to another Shawn Michaels promo warning how dangerous the Undertaker is and how his opponent should prepare for hell.

If she wasn't deceased you can damn sure bet Mae Young would be in the Woman's Rumble.
