Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 13

Dallas and Washington are both 5-6. 10-6 could very well be good enough to secure an NFC wildcard so this game has some mild importance beyond the rivalry. The Skins have no games against teams with a winning record remaining with their biggest remaining challenge being at the Chargers next week. Them finishing 5-0 is not outside the realm of possibility.

Dallas, on the other hand, has Seattle at home and then a game in Philly along with a game at Oakland sprinkled in as well. Not damn likely at all, although Philly is the last game of the season so they may rest starters.

This is some kind of ugly game so far for the Skins.

Edit: Oops, got even uglier just as I hit enter. Jeeeezus.

If the Redskins could hold on to the ball they win this easily. Dallas offense is pathetic.

Sucks if you have Perine tonight - me.

Will be great if you have Kirk. He'll throw for 400. And they'll lose.

No interest in tonight's game.

Minnesota at Atlanta,Carolina at New Orleans
and Philadelphia at Seattle all should be great games.

Don't get the first one here in lieu of the useless Baltimore/Detroit game, but at least we do get Carolina/NO for the second game. Overall, a damn good weekend, especially coming on the heels of some key college matchups on Saturday.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 13

Cowboys have life!

That said, even if they win out, there's very little chance 10-6 gets you an NFC wildcard. The teams occupying those 2 spots right now (Panthers, Falcons) are 8-3 and 7-4. And then there's the Seahawks, also at 7-4.

I started Perine ahead of Kareem Hunt (and Alf Morris) and started Cousins ahead of Alex Smith.

Looks like the Cowboys o-line is back to normal... and Morris takes advantage with 127 yards rushing and they win. Goes to show that the team lives and dies with that line.

Oakland Reportedly Potential Titans, Jaguars Relocation City After Raiders Move.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...ramming-league

Does the city of Oakland really think another team would move there without a new stadium in place?

That's just political cover, nothing more.

Interesting signing. He's not blowing up but a big part of their offense. Wentz spreads it around a lot. He picked well for a FA 1-year deal this year. Paid off.

Did we ever find out how much he turned down by the Vikings? I wonder if it was similar deal. He probably chose correctly.

You mean the Bears?

The funny thing is that Pryor did a similar deal as Jeffrey. But he totally sucked. Skins blew $14M there that they could have used for....

No team would ever want to move to Oakland with their stupid politicians who never get anything done.

They lost the Warriors and the Raiders and they could still lose the A's.

I hope Sacramento or even Portland lands A team.
Chargers would be great in the valley, but I think the owner is to cheap.

No, the Vikings. They offered him a multi-year deal this past offseason, but Jeffrey wanted to bet on himself for a 1 year deal, thinking he could play into a bigger deal.
