It's sad the regular season is almost over. Here are the matchups and TV listings for week twelve.

Easily the weakest week schedule wise of the season

Interesting games early though.

UVA up 14-0 on Miami. Hitting huge pass plays.

Wish I took the Under in the Wisky game. Nothing happening there.

So much for that...right when I post, Wisky gets an absurd PR TD.

Yup. On paper, the only game worth giving a shit about is on right now. Weird to not have at least one good matchup in primetime.

NFL - take a lesson - that's a catch for UVA.

Another big pass for UVA - after the punt block.

Meanwhile, Wisky can't move the ball at all.

10 might do it for Michigan at this rate.

Pick-6 for Miami. Tie game.

And again, starting to look the way they are expected to look now. Good thing too, as I'm not sure being undefeated in the Big-10 was going to mean all that much if they were eking out ugly wins.

Year 3 of Michigan under Harbaugh looks identical to Years 1 and 2 of Michigan under Harbaugh.

If Michigan comes back Hornibrook needs to fake an injury and leave the game so the loss won’t count ala Clemson/Syracuse.

I think they're fine if they win out. I can't imagine the committee leaving out an undefeated P5 team. They may make them 4, but not out. I don't think they can beat OSU though.

Next week will be interesting for them. Classic sandwich game. On the road at Minny. Minny sucked today.

Miami the same if they can get by this. They have a short week -- going to the cold at Pitt early Friday.

Re: College Football Week 12, 2017

Jonathan Taylor of Wisconsin has a shot to break Adrian Peterson's NCAA freshman rushing record of 1925 yards next week against Minnesota unless the game gets out of hand early.

Alex Hornibrook has won his last 17 starts, and probably no one is more surprised than his coach or Badger fans. He leads the nation in both interception and win percentage. The guy is the most bipolar QB I have seen. His only two career losses were both in his freshman season by one score @ #4 Michigan and in OT against #2 Ohio State.

Closing thought for the day: Saw Lavar Arrington on the B1G Tailgate show today and he is turning into Grady from Sanford and Son.

Re: College Football Week 12, 2017

This was not only the best performance of the day, but maybe of the season...

222 Yards Rushing on 24 carries with 2 TD's (one for 23 yards, and another for 67 yards)
70 Yard Punt Return for TD
100 Yard Kickoff Return for TD (tying the All Time FBS/D1 record with 7)
429 Total Combined Yards

He'll be playing on Sundays next year...

Re: College Football Week 12, 2017

I feel bad for Baker Mayfield. Yeah, he was immature but it was those idiots at Kansas who started it by not shaking his extended hand. That was poor sportsmanship and it got into his head. Now he has to pay the price and deal with the potential fallout while KU sits at 1-9 (0-8). They need to fire coach David Beatty and bring in somebody who knows how to win a game on occasion and how to prepare his players so they aren't an outright embarrassment on national TV -- both during the game and even before it kicks off.
