Deshaun Watson apparently tore his ACL in practice today.

Wow, that’s devastating for him and the Texans if that’s the case.

Ouch, NFL Network confirms Watson is out for the year with a Torn ACL.

What a bummer.

Holy shit, that sucks for him, the Texans, and the NFL. And it doesn't help Will Fuller on my fantasy teams either.

From earlier in the day and not surprising. Andrew Luck also done for the year. He hasn’t played this season.

Damn, Watson was doing well, heck he could have been ROY. And it looks like it's one of these freak non-contact injuries.

As a Colts fan, I'm happy about this. I want Luck at 100% and he wasn't likely to get there this year. Plus there's nothing to be gained now in the season. I just want them to accumulate losses, get a great non-QB First-Round draft pick and fire the shit out of Chuck Pagano.

Terrible news about Watson. I hope he comes back fine next season. What a bummer for the Texans in the one year I didn't mind them doing well.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 9

I do not have problem with the Colts other than them being in the same division as the Texans, but I HATE the Jags and the Tits. Now one of those two is gonna win the division. I hope they get destroyed in the playoffs.

How can you hate Tits?

Watson — holy crap! That sucks.

Luck — it amazes me more teams and athletes don’t do this. Shut the injured star down take the year off to let everything heal up properly, come back rested and better the next year.

The Spurs did that with David Robinson.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 9

Really sorry that happened to Watson. Hopefully this isn't another RGIII deal where he never comes back the same. He was so impressive in such a short period of time.

The NFL has a real problem on it's hands with in the increasing number of top name players that end up with their seasons cut short by injury.

They should sign Kap or try to get Romo out of Retirement. He'd probably unretire for $10 million for the rest of the season

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 9

Maybe something is wrong with Bill O' Brien and how he conducts practice since they always lose one or two of their best players every year.

I don't know about that. Some players are just really injury prone and I think JJ Watt is one of them.

And, not so coincidentally, it's what the Colts did to Peyton Manning during Andrew Luck's final year at Stanford.

Forte on two of my benches, started Hauschka and ASJ.

What a bed-shitting by the Bills.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 9

If this were 2 or 3 seasons ago, I'd ask who in the league office the Cardinals pissed off to draw the Niners and Seahawks in the same week.

This Niners game feels like it could be a trap game though. Team looking forward to playing Seattle and overlooking SF kinda thing...

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 9

I hated that game. Everything went against me.

Who are the idiots who proclaimed the Jets would be the worst team in the NFL?

They probably don't bother to analyze the O and D lines before making their predictions.

Maybe Corey Feldman has to name these guys.

AZ and the Giants game the only games the Niners have a chance to win.
