OK, you're out of the doghouse, Russell. Still didn't beat A. Smith on my bench though.

Wow, Rams and Chargers both with shutout wins.

Chargers look like they’ve snapped out of their funk, still too bad no one is watching their games.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 7

I had an Orchestra meeting this evening, which meant I missed tonight's 2nd half.

Looks like the Bengals missed the 2nd half as well.

Bleh.

What happened to the sieve NE defense?

Typical Patriots using a different back on every series.

Falcons got some points. I thought we were going to see a 3rd shutout today.

My turn :

Spoiler:
Colts, not Broncos.
Though I could understand the confusion.

Yeah, they have become one of the more perplexing elements in what is already a fairly perplexing season. Their only loss after week 4 was to the surprisingly good Bills and they had that blowout win over the Cowboys in week 2. Not only have that lost twice in a row, but they have lost very badly twice in a row.

I'm pretty sure that's both teams side by side in that Far Side comic.

Judges ruling makes it official, Ezekiel Elliott will play this week versus Washington.

The NFL’s request for a speedy hearing is rejected.
Sorry Red Dog.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 7

The "good" news for Bengal fans is that we're on track for a top-5 draft pick:

The bad news is that Cleveland seems hell-bent on runing the career of another kid coming out of college as the top prospect by crusing toward another #1 overall draft pick. Please god, let the Browns win ONE game this year so at least ONE #1 pick has a chance at a decent career.

You're assuming SF will go 0-16?

They have games with the Giants and Cardinals left. I can see them winning both of those.

Matt Patricia made the proper adjustments and they are going to win Super Bowl 52.

Yeah, I was commenting on Kenbuzz's urge for the Browns to win one game so that the #1 pick has a chance at a decent career. Yet I too think that a 1-15 Browns team would be picking first overall, so I wasn't following his logic. Again, unless SF goes 0-16.
