College Football Week 7, 2017.

Here are the matchups for Week Seven of the College Football Season. Does anyone know why the UMass vs South Florida game is cancelled?

Re: College Football Week 7, 2017.

UMass-South Florida football cancellation creates scheduling changes for Minutemen.

The University of Massachusetts announced today that the Minutemen will not play their scheduled football game against the University of South Florida on Oct. 14 in Tampa, due to a Hurricane Irma-related schedule change request from USF and the American Athletic Conference.

To fill the vacated game, UMass said it has "agreed in principle" to play Florida International University in Miami on Dec. 2.

The game will be played unless FIU qualifies for the Conference USA championship game, which is scheduled for that day.

The canceled game with South Florida gives UMass back-to-back bye weeks on Oct. 7 and Oct. 14.

The Minutemen will play Ohio at home on Sept. 30 and then not play again until Oct. 21 at home against Georgia Southern.

UMass will make up its game with South Florida on a date to be determined during either the 2022 or 2023 season.

Clemson losing certainly shakes things up.

Wash St currently losing at Cal.

WSU got their asses kicked. I'm surprised because Cal was kind of on a decline when P12 play started (they lost to Oregon by 21; in turn Oregon, albeit with their 3rd string true freshman QB, lost to WSU by 23). Go figure.

Indiana very nearly beat Michigan. Look how close they came to scoring the game-winning TD off of this onside kick:

That was an enjoyable game. But FYI by rule he could not have advanced the onside kick recovery even if he had recovered it inbounds. They still would have had to gain some yards for a game-winning FG attempt.

Thank you, LSU, helps my Under 8.5 wins for AUB. I didn't think I had much of a chance, but now I do.

Unreal catch by Miami. Now need a FG in the mud to win.

Re: College Football Week 7, 2017.

Well, Kansas lost a nail-biter, heart-breaker at Iowa State 45-0 and now sit at 43 consecutive road losses (as well as three at Arrowhead Stadium against Mizzou which don't count towards the streak). With a loss next week at TCU (which seems.....conceivable), Kansas will tie the all-time Road Losing Streak record, matching Western State, located in Gunnison, Colorado, which lost 44 in a row on the road from 1926-36.
Rock Chalk, indeed!

That was gutsy and close too. The receiver was wide open at the back of the end zone because all the defenders went after the QB, a quick lob would have ended it.

Darnold again plays like he wants to be the next Blake Bortles. Now leads in fumbles.

Washington’s kicker is 0 for 2 on field goal attempts. The first attempt was from 27yds, the second from 21yds

Ugly game in San Diego tonight. Boise played tough, kept their cool throughout, while San Diego State made a handful of mistakes that cost them big time since Boise's defense was dominating the line of scrimmage.
