Other than the game tomorrow, taking a week off from the NFL. Beyond the Seahawks being on their bye the Sunday schedule is lame. And MNF is another pathetic match-up with both QB's out.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 6

These next four games are probably the toughest for the Chiefs, I hope they can beat the Steelers, but I am guessing they'll lose at least one of the next four games(Pittsburgh, @Oakland, Denver, @Dallas). Denver will probably be the toughest test.

Zeke's suspension reinstated. He would miss weeks 7-12

I wish they would do the bye weeks differently. The NFL schedule is going to suck until all the teams are back playing. They should give one conference one week off(in mid-season) followed by the other conference the next week. Then they wonder why tv ratings are down.

I am all for changing up how bye weeks are handled. But how would making them conference based be any better?

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 6

It's truly a dumb idea. You can't have an 8 game slate on 2 weekends. They really should do the divisions on the bye the same week: weeks 6-13. I think they used to do that at one point. My guess is FOX bitched - not having a NFCE team available.

Frankly, I don't think this week is too bad. SNF/MNF is terrible, but Sunday afternoon is fine and that's what I care about most (since I'm usually asleep somewhere in the 2nd half of the SNF/MNF games). And nobody could have predicted that the Giants would totally shit the bed.
Next week seems to be the reverse.

I believe you are right given I can remember when the NFCW teams would all be on their bye the same week. Unless it was a coincidence. That worked afar better.

Of course I can also remember how much better it was when there was no bye week.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 6

Rams @ Jaguars might be a sneaky good game since both teams have winning records.

Steelers @ Chiefs would have been great if the Steelers were playing better but i assume they will bring their "A" game after all the criticism this past week.

Upset special of the week!

The Chargers will win two games in a row and win in Oakland.

If they did CBS or FOX would not have a Sunday schedule of games and I doubt they would agree to something like that.

Cowboys bye week, which means Zeke/NFLPA have time to file their request for a new preliminary injunction in court before the suspension actually makes him miss time.

Push it back a week. Weeks 8-13 would be ideal.

Hehehe.

Personally, I wish he would just serve it now, because in the end, the likelihood of getting the suspension dismissed is slim to none, and I don't view the Cowboys as a playoff team. The defense is a year away from being decent.

They each show some of the other conferences games. Last week CBS showed Seahawks-Rams(NFC game)

That's a rare flexing exception. The norm is what we all would say is the standard AFC Home = CBS, NFC Home = Fox.
