Wow, only two ranked match-ups this week : TCU @ OK State and MS State @ Georgia. What a dull week.

Wonder what the line is on UNLV @ Ohio State. Whatever it is, it's not big enough.

Re: College Football Week 4, 2017.

It will be interesting to see if #22 San Diego State wins. Every time they've been ranked since 1978 they've lost the next game (in the same season - they ended last season ranked #25 and have won all their games so far this season).

Hopefully they start a new trend...

I don't know who thought having Game Day in Times Square was a good idea. Must be because there's not really a must see game today. (IMO)

Arkansas to honor alum Jerry Jones with special uniforms vs. Texas A&M.

When Arkansas hosts Texas A&M on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, it won't just be the Dallas Cowboys' home it'll be playing in.

The Razorbacks also will be wearing the Cowboys uniforms sort of. Cowboys owner and Arkansas graduate Jerry Jones was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year, and the Razorbacks wanted to honor him with specially designed uniforms that match the design of the Cowboys.

Jones is an Arkansas native and was the co-captain of the Razorbacks' 1964 national championship team coached by Frank Broyles.

Jones was emotional when he saw the helmet, and said "At my age, if I put this thing on, I might run the ball a little bit out there.

The Razorbacks and Cowboys uniforms are made by Nike, so the design was fairly easy to match. They have the same stripes, same American flag on the helmet, they've matched the SEC label with the NFL label, the only slight difference is the size of the numbers because of NCAA regulations.

But other than that, other than the color and the hog instead of the star, it's a dead-ringer, right down to the labels on the back of the helmet.

"It actually exceeded expectations," Arkansas equipment director Jake Rosch told ESPN. "Seeing it on a model when we were doing a photo shoot, it definitely looked better than the renderings.

And you know, our fans usually don't like it when you mess with the traditional home uniform.

"But this design still looks traditional, it still has our running hog on the helmet. It's not one of those "shock and awe" designs. It's more that we wanted to tip our cap to Jerry. People like it."

FSU having issues. Miss a FG and Derwin James, a potenrtial top 5 pick next year, loses his jock trying to tackle the NC St. WR.

Sumlin not doing much for his job security against Arkansas.

Awesome juke/head fake by the NC St WR on a runaway to put them up 10.

After miscues (fumble/ short FG miss) by FSU.

That was awful.

Bielema at this pace will look like Charlie Weis in another season or two.

Brock Huard is simultaneously arguing that the official has to call the PI if he sees the defender with a handful of jersey and that the officials should let the kids decide the game.

God, that was an easy +11.5 for NC St. Wish I ML'd them. I was thinking FSU would beat them in the 2nd, not cover, but they fizzled. Some rust, some inexperience (at QB), but definitely were overrated to begin with.

Darnold just throws the dumbest passes sometimes. I said it before but if he's auditioning for the Browns or Jaguars, he'll fit right in.

Calling the OK St. play calling this questionable is being nice.

Well, San Diego State is screwed.

There is a torrential rain coming down in Colorado Springs, and the Aztecs can't get their footing and can't throw the ball. I haven't seen rain & wind conditions this bad since the Chargers went to Kansas City in Ryan Leaf's rookie year. And this really looks worse from a rainfall standpoint.

Air Force is a little more used to the conditions, so they're coping better. This is an UGLY game so far.

Injury to Speight may be the best thing that happens to us this season. O'Korn looked good.

Re: College Football Week 4, 2017.

Now there's a weather delay due to lightning in Colorado Springs. This is a full on monsoon. Unbelievably bad weather.

I'm not sure what SDSU can do - Air Force's offensive scheme is better suited for these conditions. Even a break to come up with new strategy may not help.

Honestly, I had no idea that Okie State lost. I was fixated on my Toledo/Miami bet. Just checked the scores. Shocked.

The service academies are tough to play when they get that option rolling
