I, for one, will never forget how the Dodgers fell off a cliff in late August 2017.

The Dodgers are just the fourth team in major league history to win 14 of 15 games and lose 14 of 15 in the same season, joining the 1914 Pirates, 1955 Phillies and 1959 Kansas City Athletics, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Re: 2017 MLB Week 24 Sep 11-17 "Never Forget Edition"

The Dodgers have created far too big of a gap to completely fall apart and miss the playoffs and, with the Nats clinching already, I wouldn't be surprised to see them hold on to 1st place in the NL. But falling ass backwards into the playoffs is never a recipe for success and if they end up playing a hot Arizona or Colorado team, I think they'll get the early boot.

As a non-fan, this season has been rather incredible to watch. The fact that they've lost 10 in a row and 14 out of 15 and may still finish with the best record in baseball is bananas.

Another question -- for a team that looked like it would make a push for 116+ wins just two weeks ago, will they even win 100 at this point? With 19 games left and sitting at 92 wins, they would need to go 8-11 the rest of the way. With the way they've been playing, I'd say no.

Just like too many overreact and call the Dodgers the best team ever when things are going good there are many overreacting now that they are on a losing streak. Of course they will still win 100 and they are still the favorites to win the NL.

At least the Dodgers have a chance to get well against the Giants this week.

Tribe is insane. 19 straight wins and now the best record in the AL.

If Kersh doesn't win tonight I'm jumping. I'm not kidding. Okay, kinda kidding, but seriously this shit is getting WAY old. Not fun at all.

There are good reasons to believe their starting pitching is falling apart outside of Kershaw.

Alex Wood has lost significant velocity since the first half, he's clearly not the same pitcher that went undefeated for awhile in the beginning of the season.

Darvish has been wildly erratic all season and he's not handling the pressure of being a free agent next year at all. He's likely cost himself $50-some million on his next deal with this year's mediocre showing.

Dodgers win, Kershaw pitches well and Trump tweets crazy shit. Finally all feels right in the world again.

I watched a lot of the game for a change thanks to it airing on KTLA locally here. I thought the 9th inning was going to be heartbreaking and that Posey was going to hit a grand slam.

Last time any Dodger besides Kershaw got a "W"? Kenta Maeda, against the Brewers, on August 25th.

They are already up 3-1 in the first today. I think they'll win out in the regular season and go 11-0 in the postseason.

We'll see if that works for you.

Actually, I'm pulling for them.

The Indians remind me of the 1971 Baltimore Orioles.

Craziest tidbit from this Cleveland winning streak to show just how dominant they have been:

They've trailed at the end of an inning just four times out of 189 innings (it helps that they've scored first in 19 of the 21 games).

Congrats to the Indians for tying the Undertaker's Wrestlemania win streak. It's been an impressive run.

Dbacks win and split series with Rockies. While I would have liked them to have won 3 out of 4, they have now won the season series against them and own the WC tie breaker against them.

Beautiful pitching by Wade (1/3 of an inning Fuck) Miley tonight against Yankees. 1/3 of an inning -6 earned runs. Plus for the Orioles making it worse-Ubaldo Jimenez is starting on Sunday.

Rhys Hoskins of my Phillies just hit his 18th Homerun in only his 33rd game since being brought up last month. He is on pace for 80 homeruns over a 162 game schedule. . I'm still waiting for pitchers to pitch around him but judging from the media attention, he is just falling under the radar.

I thought I read if you count his minor league stats this year, he's got like 45 HRs or something.
