Jeremy Lane was ejected but replay shows no punch being thrown.

It's 92 degrees in Los Angeles today. Not surprised there is a lot of empty seats at the Coliseum.

Rams are looking better on offense so far.

Huh, JJ's brother has two sacks and an interception.

Packers receivers look pretty good, but otherwise this game is fantasy death.

Rams are looking good and aggressive on offense. That Kupp kid has made some good catches. Nice TD catch by him.

he had his forearm on the throat of Adams and left it there for several seconds. even if he didn't throw a punch, it was right to eject hijm.

Two big plays, and the Seahawks salvage a FG to end the half.

Wow early report is Kevin White may have fractured his collarbone. He's played only five games since being drafted in 2015 plus the Bears already lost Meredith for the season.

The kid has had nothing but tough luck. In other news, that's an end-of-the-bench auto-pick I can safely drop.

The Rams have 37 points midway through the third. I still can't tell if they're that improved or if it's just Indy's D being its normal self.

It's the Colts. Can't wait for the inevitable Pagano firing. He never has his team ready to play.
One game into the season and the best I can realistically hope for is that they pull a Tennessee in the 2018 draft and trade down with a team desperate for a QB at the top of the draft.

Re: 2017 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 01

It's so interesting going in to a football weekend where I don't really have an NFL team to root for.

Yeah, I've been following the Cowboys since 1977, but since Jerry fired Jimmy it just hasn't been the same. And with Dean "I am a total clueless, greedy moron" Spanos moving the Chargers to L.A. I don't have a team I really feel connected to anymore.

I do want the Rams to do well since they actually moved back home, and I'll support any owner who moves a team back to their main home (for the Rams that is clearly Los Angeles), and I want the Cowboys to do well (which could find me in a conundrum when they play each other since they're both NFC teams), but I don't have a team that I really feel is MY team.

I guess I went into the weekend only caring about San Diego State football (and they dominated Arizona State last night, with Rashaad Penny putting up Heisman numbers in a phenomenal performance). I really didn't care about the NFL and I haven't been following much of the offseason player moves or roster cuts or anything.

Still, it's nice to see the Rams do well, even if it was against an marginally incompetent backup QB.

Sucks. I just assumed you were here to post about the Chargers as you always used to, but they're gone.
