The Hawks plan to cut Jefferson.

So unless he signs with a title contender super cheap, he's probably done.

Kind of a shitty way to go out. He actually retired 2 years ago after the Cavs won the title, but came back because he wanted to defend the title, which didn't happen. He probably should have just stayed retired after they won that season.

If he does retire, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him take an assistant coaching position with the Lakers. He is very tight with Luke Walton and is certainly very smart. He would probably make a good coach someday.

Jefferson is done. He only continued to play because of being on the Cavs with Lebron.

What a bummer, he is a great Snapchat follow and his podcast isn't that bad either. That's where we found out that Kyrie thinks the world is flat.

well, I don't have insider info, it's a prediction from me, not news.

And he didn't die. He can still do podcasts and Snapchats if he wants to.

I found his snapchat and podcasts entertaining cause it would cover the behind the scenes stuff in a NBA locker room and the road life throughout the season. So without that, I dunno if his retired life will be appealing to me.

He was actually a valuable rotation player, especially when Love went out that one year. He can easily latch on to any team but the Cavs after he's cut, depends if he wants to. Also he's super close with Luke Walton from their college days, so maybe a coaching position (they already have an elder statesman at SF).

Speaking of the Lakers, man I know it's preseason but Kuzma is looking better than both Randle and Ingram. Randle's been coming off the bench so that Nance can start, and KCP is suspended for a couple of games so the first few lineups should be interesting.

3 year 72 million dollar extension for Aldridge from the Spurs. I'm surprised, but curious how Spurs fans will react.

You know what they say : If you can't trade 'em, pay them another $72 Million and keep them around for three more years.

Sounds like the meeting he and Pop had must have gone really well for them to move forward after such a terrible post season. I think the Spurs also didn't have many options, as i'm not sure who else would be available of his caliber that would go to the Spurs and pair with Leonard in the near future. They're still a 50+ win team with him.

Wut, Grizzlies are waiving their 2016 first-round pick, 17th overall, Wade Baldwin?

They blew A LOT of future cap space on the Mills and Gasol contracts. Aldridge isn't as bad as those two and he seems motivated this year. So I'm OK with it.
