Yay for more Early-Morning London football! This is the last one of the year though.

edit : The first schedule I found had the Packers-Falcons as an early game and the Cardinals-Panthers as a late game, but it looks like that was wrong and it's the other way. Don't know if the times got switched or whether the first site just made a mistake.

Broadcast Map :

The Sunday Morning London game will be a National broadcast on Fox.

Interesting that the Vegas market is getting the New England - Buffalo game instead of "their" Raiders in an early road game.

As a personal note, this will be my first NFL game in six years. Like my last one, this will be Chiefs at Colts. Taking my son to his first NFL game. Seeing Andrew Luck and Lucas Oil Stadium for the first time. Should be fun!

You just cost us like 15 hours of suspense wondering if someone was going to create the thread.

It wasn't wrong. Originally it was scheduled that way. Now that Carolina sucks and the Cards aren't much better, the network flip-floped those 2 game times last weekend.

That was the prevailing opinion amongst Cowboys fans. Personally I didn't really care that much. In fact, since Ramsey was mainly projected as a safety (and that ain't no money 5 position), and we already had Byron Jones, I ended up wanting Bosa/Zeke.

Fixed and it makes no sense because even Reno gets the Raiders game. I could understand San Diego vs. Denver, but not this.

Never saw anything that showed that. Regardless, many others figured that Zeke was a natural fit for the Cowboys and would be the odds on favorite for OROTY.

Tonight's Thursday Night Football game is garbage. It's only on NFL Network, so the audience is going to be small. Both of these teams have no national interest.

CJ Anderson from the Broncos is done for the year.

#Broncos RB CJ Anderson has told people close to him that he's done for the year, I am told. Awful.

Hell, the Jaguars don't even garner local interest.

Wow, I didn't know the league ever did that (outside of severe weather concerns). I'm flying back from Indy around 8 that night. I was careful to find a date with an early game and before the Flex schedule kicked in to be SURE that I'd be able to fly out later that evening and make it home before too late. I'd have been SO PISSED if they moved my game to 4PM over broadcast concerns.

Those schedule changes are a big middle finger to fans that plan travel around the originally released schedule.

Re: 2016 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 8

GB/Atlanta, and Philly/Dallas look to be potentially great games.

Hawks might have their hands full at NO depending on how tired the Defense may be from last week, and how hobbled the Offense is. Wilson missed part of yesterday's practice for the first time in his career, due to a pectoral tear - his 3rd injury of the season.

Re: 2016 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 8

Interesting comments by Richard Sherman on when they jump over the center in FG tries. Apparently the conditions have to be right.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...r-snap-cadence

"It was a legal play. And every year there's something else they're trying to get against the defense. Now you're saying we can't jump over your snapper because you made your cadence so predictable, you made your snapper keep his head down, and now you want to change the rule again because you got your kick blocked. That's unfortunate."

Re: 2016 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 8

At some point I think they are going to just have to have Wilson sit out a game or two to get as close to fully healthy as possible. If the o-line actually got their shit together at the same time, bonus! This could be the week to do it. They might actually have a better chance of beating NO if they gave Boykin the same mobile QB game plan they used to give Wilson. Getting their FB back will also help a great deal (can't believe they ever went the other direction).

The continued concern about the FG jumping is absurd. Each one was a legal play, and as Sherman noted, it's not always even possible.

I'm starting 3 players in one league in this shitfest, so I'll have it on the side TV as usual.

This should have been the night the WS went head to head with the NFL - definitely would have beaten it.

Based on 538.com ELO metrics, Jags-Titans make up 3 of the worst 5 ever primetime matchups.

Hey, Robinson with a catch! Any chance garbage time will let him actually put up some numbers for a change?
