"Points scored is the tiebreaker" for what exactly?

Our league rules say "Playoff Tie-Breaker: Best regular season record vs opponent wins."

Perhaps we're talking about two different things. Just looking for clarification. Thanks!

If, at the end of the regular fantasy season, 2 or more teams in a non-division league finish with the same overall record, the following system will be used to break the tie:

Tiebreaker 1. Fantasy points scored.
If both teams somehow have scored the same number of points then
Tiebreaker 2. Fantasy points scored in the final week of your league's regular season.
If teams have scored the same number of points in the final week then
Tiebreaker 3. Fantasy points scored in the second-to-last week of your league's regular season, etc.
If somehow they still have the same totals then it goes to
Tiebreaker 4. Random Coin Flip

Without figuring in this week's win or loss:

6 Frontal LeBeautomy 6-6-0 1142.84
7 Dumpster Fire 6-6-0 1116.66
8 Bates Motel Bellhops 6-6-0 1082.78
9 Brick by Brick 5-7-0 1178.02

Three teams have the same record. Frontal LeBeautomy gets into the playoffs since he has scored the most points.

So if I had won this week and the teams in 6,7, and 8th place lost. My team is 5-7 and I would be 6-7 and there would be four 6-7 teams My team with 1178.02 points would win the tie breaker and make it into the playoffs.

There is currently a .66 point differential between the two top scorers. I'm going to wait on sending the prize money out in case there is a stat correction.

Chaos is a Ladder (outcastja) is the winner of the $15 Top Scorer (Regular season only) prize. I sent his winnings out today.

I really want to get the winnings sent out as soon as possible this year. The only way they will not get sent out a day or two after the Championship week is if the scores are really close and a stat correction could determine a new winner.

I will email the winning teams to get their preferred paypal email address so I can close this season out.

Also, please let me know if there are any rule/setting changes you would like for next year. The only one I'm absolutely against is paying fees for drop/adds. I just think it would be way to hard to collect them. I know someone mentioned cutting the bench spots from 8 to 6. Let me know your thoughts on that.

Congratulations to Axeramm's A**Kickers on winning the championship. I have sent Axeramm his winnings. I'm just waiting to hear back from outcastja and I'll send his winnings. Third place is too close to call. One team has two players playing tonight.

Chaos is a Ladder (outcastja) finished second and I just sent his winnings. I'll get in touch with our third place finisher in the morning and send their winnings as long as the score isn't too close that a stat correction could change who wins.

It looks like John's Team (BearFan) will take home the 3rd place winnings. I'm going to hold off payment until Thursday or Friday when week 17 starts in case there is a stat correction since there is a 1.12 point differential. Thanks for taking over the league this year, lwhy? I can't complain too much about a 5th place finish since I came in dead last the year before. My WRs can suck it, though.

I feel your pain about the WRs this year.... I drafted Hopkins, Baldwin, and Diggs. They were all sporadic and terrible. Thanks for playing this year. I hope you're back next year!

I'm unfortunately going to have to wait until Sunday Jan. 1 to send Bearfan's payout. The point differential is down to .72 points since mas_tequila has already received .4 points due to an Amari Cooper stat correction.

Yahoo says "Week 16 stats may change if stat corrections are applied by Sunday, Jan 1."

Sorry for the delay, but I just want to make sure I send the money to the correct winner.
